    It might not feel all that fresh anymore, but in Jones and Bee’s hands The Detour is still miles ahead of most other half-hour comedies on TV.

    The Detour is the kind of show that is best consumed in extended viewing. Individually, its episodes can seem slapdash and gratuitously crass. But there’s a theme beneath the ribaldry, one that may leave you pondering just how much you really know about that person sitting or sleeping next to you.

    Still funny, but not as good and over the top as the first season.
    I had the feeling the writers were running out of ideas.

    However, finding out who those interrogators work for, was hilarious.
    Laura Benanti was funny as the chief interrogator.

    So, maybe not as good as the first season, still one of the best comedies on tv.
