Summary: Tonight, the Justice Department's head of the Office of Legal Counsel who advised President Bush on the limits of executive power and the author of The Terror Presidency: Law and Judgment Inside the Bush Administration, Jack Goldsmith.

Jon begins tonights show reporting on President Bush's veto of SCHIP in a segment called "Banned-Aid".Tonight, the Justice Department's head of the Office of Legal Counsel who advised President Bush on the limits of executive power and the author of The Terror Presidency: Law and Judgment Inside the Bush Administration, Jack Goldsmith.

Jon begins tonights show reporting on President Bush's veto of SCHIP in a segment called "Banned-Aid". The SCHIP bill would have given 2-4 million kids health care and would be paid for by a tax on cigarettes. Senior Healthcare Analyst John Oliver talks to Jon from 19th century London in a Dickensian hellscape of child run factories and orphanages about why Londoners of that era support Bush's veto of SCHIP.
Finally, Resident Expert John Hodgman talks with Jon about the state of the American dollar, which for the first time in 30 years is now equal to the Canadian dollar and hit an all time low against the Euro.… Expand
