    None of it builds to a larger thesis about these people or the institution itself. The impressively lavish settings can’t make up for the emptiness of the script. Scenes — and emotional arcs — don’t get a chance to play out, but flit from one location and set of characters to another.

    The new, fifth season of “The Crown” is the show’s weakest outing yet ... Even after having been handed the gift of a memorable scandal with two hugely charismatic and flawed participants as grist, “The Crown” finds it has nothing to say.

    2. Plot is a 3.5/5; *** I dunno but since season 1 I appreciate its complex plot but I prefer fast-paced ones or is it because the 90’s is now
    3. Storyline is 4.5/5; More unique and refreshing storylines. To be fair, there are obvious metaphors and there are some that will make you think.
    4. Cinematography is 5/5; As always but this time it has the feels of season 1 that you’re watching a 10-hour Oscar film.
    5. Music is 4/5; Love it!!! But same as its predecessors it’s not too memorable.

    Verdict: MUST WATCH!!! I’m betting it will win a Golden Globe, SAG Ensemble, Emmy best drama and acting awards. It just cannot be beaten at this point.    … Full Review »

    Unbelievable series! It has such an unsurpassed atmosphere. And the actors this season are just on top.
