    Much suspension of disbelief is required as every week we bypass any meaningful investigation into the new 'big bad' to get to the shoot out in 40-45 minutes. The big questions, the Fulcrum/global conspiracy and the 'Lizzie/Red" relationship are interesting enough as a show premise but very few real developments or answers have been given the long suffering audience over two seasons.Much suspension of disbelief is required as every week we bypass any meaningful investigation into the new 'big bad' to get to the shoot out in 40-45 minutes. The big questions, the Fulcrum/global conspiracy and the 'Lizzie/Red" relationship are interesting enough as a show premise but very few real developments or answers have been given the long suffering audience over two seasons. Rather than resolve and building new mysteries, the writers seem content to let the old ones hang and draw them out until the cancellation notice comes in. James Spader works hard, but even he looks a bit bored as we close out season 2.… Expand
