    This TV show is getting a bit worse every season, it's inevitably drifting from something that at least had some references to actual nerdThis TV show is getting a bit worse every season, it's inevitably drifting from something that at least had some references to actual nerd lifestyle to a soap-opera with a few science trivia every now and then.

    The worst thing, is that while i never apprieciated some thing of this show (like the fake-laughs, the forced rythm, and the hidden advertising of stuff) Some of them are getting constantly worse, to the point that now the whole thing almost looks like a 20mins commercial of a few different things. They don't ever miss a chance to advertise amazon prime, apple and a bunch of other things, and they are doing constantly more of that, to the point that it became invasive, annoying, and obviously not funny.

    It was a fresh and fun idea 12 seasons ago, even with its flaws, but now i think that only someone who grew fond of the characters may actually endure watching what it has became, the editors are still trying to come up with jokes, and they succeed sometimes with some good ones, but all of them seems feel kinda forced or already heard, and the whole thing lost its original spirit.    … Full Review »

    I've watched three episodes so far, and I am not impressed. This season appears to be even worse than seasons 10 and 11, a feat I would have though impossible six months ago. But there it is.

    In a way it is good that this show is being brought to a close. Mr Lorre seems to have run out of fresh ideas about three or four seasons ago. Now it is just a matter of watching the slow-motion crash come to a conclusion.

    I'm going to continue to watch this season, hoping it rallies to some manner of a good series finale.

    I've taken this off my DVR's "todo" list. No sense recording a show that I no longer enjoy. I'm not watching this anymore, contrary to what I said ^^up there^^.

    Season 12 has diminished from a nerdy "Friends copycat" (seasons 8, 9, 10, 11) to an unfunny low-grade soap opera with an overbearing laugh track. I mean, really, when the producers need to tell you that loudly and intrusively where the funny spots of the show should be, well, something major is wrong.

    The odd thing is that, in spite of the number of times I have seen the episodes, I still enjoy watching seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 when they show up on TBS.

    I watched the series finale. It was definitely a few notches better than what I had seen of season 12. The actors and actresses actually seemed to be "into" their roles, something I'd not seen since season 7 or so. Seasons 10, 11, and 12, the actresses and actors were mostly cardboard cutouts reading lines, any acting seemed to be done with banal boredom.

    I do have to give congratulations to Mr Lorre, though. He managed to pull in the viewing audiences for 12 seasons.

    I'm still watching the reruns of the first six seasons (season six starts the downslide, though), will even be purchasing the Bluray discs of those seasons.
