JosieK.May 17, 2008This show always makes me laugh! The geek culture in-jokes are spot on. I love how each guy has his own special brand of geekiness.

ChristopherSep 17, 2008I love this show, it is a refreshing new show. The humor is evident, and caused me to laugh out loud through every episode. I will continue to watch and hope that it continues to deliver the humor.

AdamASep 23, 2008The worst written comedy that still never fails to make me laugh. I'm ashamed to say I've never missed an episode.

JTDec 1, 2009Superbly hilarious. The creator's other show, Two & A Half Men, never really made me laugh. After watching The Big Bang Theory, I was in stitches.

KyleT.Nov 26, 2007It's clever and hilarious at the same time. The "nerds'" performance is wonderful, and I'd recommend this show to anyone who's smart enough to understand the humor.

Sep 1, 2010Honestly, this is the funniest show I have ever seen. It has replaced The Office as my favorite comedy. All of the characters bring their own unique personality and loads of humor to the show.

Nov 9, 2010Can this show get any funnier? I even laugh when I hear Howard's mother screaming from another room. I laugh from start to finish as this ensemble cast is simply the best. The writers on this series earn their payday and then some as each line is funnier than the next. I do miss it not being on Monday with those other strong comedy shows. I do not watch the other shows on Thursday.

Sep 2, 2010Starts off slow but picks up really quick with very good humor and funny characters. Sheldon Cooper is one of the funniest characters on Television. The show has everything for everyone

Jan 9, 2011The dialogues are funny, and are supervised by real physicists.
The plot is nothing exceptional, but all together, the world nerd, the girl next door, and the brilliant minds of the characters, make this show unique.
Sheldon's character is brilliant. -
Aug 8, 2012A hilarious show with well thought out characters and episodes. Although the jokes about nerd culture won't appeal to all, and the sex references seem out of place it's a show I can recommend. And has me dying to watch season 2.

Jan 20, 2011This is my now my favourite show, the comic genius of Chuck Lore is absolutely limitless, the references back to the classic sci-fi and fantasy and how they typically represent the nerdy comic collectors is just brilliant.

Jun 11, 2011No està malament, sobretot les bromes relacionades amb la fÃsica (malhauradament no tothom les entendrà ), però a mesura que passen les temporades la qualitat de la sèrie descendeix.

Oct 7, 2011This is totally the funniest show on TV. Sometimes the jokes seem repeated, but they're still funny. Sheldon makes me laugh my ass out. Raj, Howard, Leonard, and Penny are also funny. The way Raj and Howard react to Leonard's mom accusing them of being in a homosexual relationship seems a little homophobic to me, but other than that, this is a Chuck Lorre masterpiece.

Jun 14, 2011not bad first season. watch it and get introduced to the characters.
it will help if you know some science too. wait for the next couple of seasons. you won't be disappointed. -
Apr 2, 2012Chuck Lorre is an absolute legend at least when it comes to this show. The actors also giving star performances. Only one complaint: although there is constant whining from the protagonists that their social and intellectual status prevents them from any physical relations that does not seem to be the case!

Sep 29, 2011Big band theory is a wonderful show....I love mostly Jim parson and kunal nayyar...I hate the girl and his boyfriend in the whole show..they should learn more acting...the other guy with kunal nayyar is cool too!
-
Oct 3, 2011It's understandable that many many people doesn't understand the a huge part of the show, indeed at the begining they used to make more complex scientific jokes, but now they decided to make it more simple. I'm agree with JamesU when he says: "This is a wonderfully written comedy, if you understand the science behind it"

-
Dec 14, 2011Not really my favourite season, but is just fun. It has a fresh story and is well perfomed. I just doubt that any other TV serie can be better than this. Cute and funny.

Jan 6, 2012The Best Comedy Show Ever... Even Better than F.R.I.E.N.D.S. in many cases...........................................................................................................
-
Jan 24, 2012I used to only watch scrubs and two and a half men, but then I saw the big bang theory. Since I first saw that glorious episode I have been hooked by their hilarious, nerdy and just plain strange life ever since.

It may not be a creative breakthrough, but it's lots funnier than the universal equation would predict.
-
Standard setup? Sure. Standard execution? For the most part.
-
The show might even have been engaging, if the one-liners came less frequently and the characters had a little more dimension. As it is, Sheldon and Leonard are merely laughable, if sweet, and they are even less fleshed out than the characters on "Two and a Half Men."
