Aug 21, 2022This show is what happens when writers with an IQ below room temperature try to make a cast of 'deep' characters.
"Meh" is the best I can do. It'd be a 5 instead of a 4 but the camera work is garbage. -
Sep 9, 2022Excellent show, although there is a lot of profanity. Characters are kind of gritty but the idea of the show and its execution is worth binge-watching.

Jul 17, 2022the editing is uneven the characters are a bit one dimensional. the writing is a bit sketchy. the cinematography is mediocre, the editing is not on point.
the basic premise is interesting and the characters are mostly likeable. i wanted to like this show but it's disappointing.

The Bear is half-hour gobbets of kinetic, pressurised, propulsive brilliance with occasional moments of stillness that make you see how much has been done in order to serve up something so delicious.
