    I really liked Ted Lasso and whilst its pretty predictable it has some great heart in it. It's like a perfect escapism comedy, it doesn't really shake the boat too much and instead chooses to go with just sticking its premise to a high standard. Just like its titular character the whole show is a breath of fresh air and just so wholesome. It has just hooked me and I don't know why. It hasI really liked Ted Lasso and whilst its pretty predictable it has some great heart in it.     Ted Lasso is only on its third episode as of now and I am already in love with the show. As a big fan of the premier league it is fun to take a look (albeit a very fictional one) into the going ons of the premier league. Going into this show I expected a cheesy cash in on the funny ted lasso NBC commercials from 5 years ago... I could not have been more wrong. This show has heart and it'sTed Lasso is only on its third episode as of now and I am already in love with the show. As a big fan of the premier league it is fun to take a look (albeit a very fictional one) into the going ons of the premier league.     Substantially better and funnier than I expected. I was expecting lots of 'dumb' comedy, but it's refreshingly not.

    Easily the best series on Apple TV and one of the best TV comedies in years. It’s like nutty, sweet hybrid of The Andy Griffith Show, Being There, and every sports movie ever made. The humor is gentle, the storyline is not unpredictable, the writing is witty without being edgy, and yet it all works beautifully as more than the sum of its parts. Funny, sweet and perpetually optimistic aboutEasily the best series on Apple TV and one of the best TV comedies in years.     This first season introduces the many funny characters that make up Ted Lasso and is much smarter than it meets the eye. Ted is so unassuming that he tricks most of the people in the show and the audience.

    If you give this 2 or 3 episodes I'm pretty sure you'll fall in love with Ted Lasso too. It's hard not to.
    It's mostly a feelgood-show, but there's some good laughs (and some tears) in there as well.

    Great show, great acting, writing, everything. Funny, touching, and real. reminds me of great shows like 'Cheers', Parks and Rec', 'The Good Place'. Funny with some humanity thrown in. Must watch

    I have come back to this series, in particular the last 5 episodes, so many times I cannot count. It is pure joy and all heart. In these **** times we only need one man, and his name is Ted Lasso.

    I liked this show much more than I thought I was going to. A very wholesome comedy show. Loved the British town and football setting. Jason Sudeikis really does justice to the part.

    Best show on television. I’m not a laugh out loud type of guy. Nor do I tear up during touching moments. I’ve done both most every episode. People will learn about it and this show will be on for years.

    Cheesy, predictable, and doesn't break any new ground yet it still works and works well.
    Maybe it's the likeable leads, the warmth or sense of community it potrays, but I did enjoy this charming comedy.

    Absolutely amazing. THis was exactly what the world needed in 2020, when it seemed like there was no hope left... Ted Lasso was exactly that: Hope. Not just the show but the character. Ted represents everything great about America, with none of the bad that comes with it.

    “Ted Lasso” is a show about a man finding his rhythm and makeshift family on the other side of the world. There are some growing pains in the first season, but don’t give up on this team.

    I keep wanting to make an unlikely comparison between “Ted Lasso” and “Schitt’s Creek,” even though “Ted Lasso” is a lot slicker and it’s set in England. The reason is that they’re both feel-good comedies with simple premises that feature some well-sketched out characters. Their best strength is not in plotting or in punch lines so much as in delivering thoroughly likable ensembles, where even the not-nice ones are kind of endearing.

    The story's gooey nature is fair game, but it’s nearly maddening by how unfunny it is, specifically being based around someone the world could use more of. ... Filled with played-out jokes like the pronunciation of “jif” or a plethora of culture shock moments like Lasso calling tea “hot brown water.” Like much of the show, it all feels very safe, which is often just a nice word for lazy.
