The show could be really great, but the writers continuously bring liberal politics/policies into the show. There is so much more material they could use when writing a show like this, yet they choose to focus on liberal policies.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Please don't watch this. It feels like at best an average The Office with Jonah and Amy acting like Jim and Pam. It also feels like a little like Parks and Recreation but they are doing it wrong. The cast is weak. It's one of the reasons why it didn’t win nor was nominated for an Emmy or Golden Globe barely got nominated for one Critic's Choice. I have seen that they took so many lines and scenes of both The Office and Parks and Recreation. When I saw it was in the Globe Globe's Party episode where Amy's house doesn't have cable and they are playing games at the end it was Amy and Dina when they are together alone after everybody left and the cable was back on and they see the end of the Golden Globes, now in Parks and Recreation, The Debate episode where the candidates are speaking, Andy and April don't have cable and they talk talking stories, Ron goes to the electricity pole and switches the cable feed from another house and then the cable is back on where they see the end of The Debate. This show is too much of a copycat but in a very bad way. I have seen shows that are copycat and work but this one sucks. The cast is unlikeable. I feel out of touch like it is fake. I cannot relate with the character. Amy sabotaging Jonah and Kelly's relationship is so messed up like f**k you Amy. You are the worst. Then in the last episode of Season 3, she was having sex with Jonah. This made Jonah and Kelly brake up as Amy was in mist of sabotaging their relationship. It was so embarrassing and cringe that I ended the show Season 3 Episode 22. The worst show I have seen in my life. America made it all about her. Piece of garbage of a show. Don’t even produce a show again please. The show is so forgettable and didn’t have charisma at all. I hate half the cast, especially Dina, Amy, Glenn a little, Justine, Marcus and Mateo. Worst cast I have seen in a while. Tbh, it is a bad thing.… Expand

Would have been good if it wasn't trying to be The Office - Retail Edition. But unlike The Office, Superstore tries too hard to push agendas. Especially as the seasons progressed. But from around Season 4 it really went downhill.
