The children fight with each other almost constantly, and are abusive and disrespectful with their mother. They also trash their home on a regular basis, including routinely writing on the walls. Cheryl realizes that the kids need personal attention from her, but she is so busy stopping them from destroying the house and each other that she doesn't have quality time with any of them.
