    Suits in its eighth season has a lot going against it. The series is aging and the loss of Meghan Markle and Patrick Adams as they were written out of the series with a bittersweet season 7 close left a lot of problems to be tackled. Suits has always thrived on a characters-first approach with a decent narrative to tie everyone together. Though sometimes this season felt like it might beSuits in its eighth season has a lot going against it. Suits has always thrived on a characters-first approach with a decent narrative to tie everyone together. Though sometimes this season felt like it might be getting lost in the weeds with uninteresting plot developments the season rapidly picks up the pace and finds a lot of meaning as the back half of season 8 slowly unfolds. There's a lot of unexcepted shifting and a couple familiar faces that pop back into the show for a hot minute. When the season wraps up it's clear where this show is going and that there's enough to explore with season 9, which was confirmed before the 2nd half of season 8 aired and is officially the series' last season. With that fact in mind it makes it easier to buy into whatever this show has to sell because you know the finish is close and there's not some unending treadmill run that Suits is being put on. As much as I have loved this show I can tell it's time to start wrapping things up and it appears that Suits is doing just that in its final hours.… Expand

    Suits season 8 manages to keep the charm of the previous seasons while adding new flavor to the show with the introduction of new characters. Well worth a watch.
