Season 1 Review:
Pearl’s hard-won independence, Amethyst’s willingness to play nice with others, Garnet’s fierce belief in love, and Steven’s maturity all get moving spotlights, and catchy-as-hell musical numbers besides. It can feel repetitive; the show has already thoroughly explored all of these areas, and the format of “a surprise attack from an unknown gem rival with an unknown connection to our heroes” is one that “Steven Universe” has leaned on again and again. Yet it’s hard to be too annoyed by this fact, especially when Steven explicitly acknowledges it at the movie’s most climactic moment.

I had a good time. Was worried the movie would be pointless, but it never felt like that. Plot points were expanded.

LA peli está buenarda , aunque en español de españa su doblaje es muy malo en mi opinión en las canciones , lo cual es horrible porque es un músical. Se entiende todo perfectamente pero el final es muy apresurado y extraño , y sinceramente ni sentido le veo

Though fun, the Steven Universe movie doesn't really offer any new insight to the characters and is more a rehash of what made the series so good. Overall decent effort.

This was a really enjoyable movie to watch, but spinel had gotten annoying at some points, and the ending was really abysmal.
