    The fourth and last season of the show. Season 3 struggled with low viewer numbers while I say it was intense, matured and entertaining. A frequent complaint was that it became to dark (Basically correct but it was not darker than the Dominion war later in DS9) and that the overarching story arc made it difficult to follow if you missed an episode (Also valid especially later in theThe fourth and last season of the show. However fan response helped to green-light a fourth season. For me this was a strange season. It has great episodes but also a slow start and a horrible final episode. I quickly lost interest after the first episode. Basically it lost me as fan while I must admit the later material is partly excellent. It has excellent stories related back to the eugenic wars, Vulcan culture, a certain section, an old enemy from other Star Trek shows and the mirror universe. On the other hand the conclusion of a certain war (reoccurring story arc of the show) is underwhelming, there are more weaker episodes (especially the early once are boring) and the final of the show and season is a basically a TNG episode (This is not a typo) while also being underwhelming and made some bad choices for characters I care. While I am at it I think they could have done more with the continuation of T’Pols and Trips arc (huge disappointment for me). Overall this was my least liked season and I cant blame them for canceling the show even as Star Trek fan. I want to thank the cast and everyone involved for the show. Thank you for the good entertainment and best wishes for you all. My recommendations are: “Borderlands” and “Cold Station 12” are practically a two parter with interesting concept and story (Must be vague because of spoilers). “Babel One”, “United” and “The Aenar” are connected and start a new story arc for an enemy that we all knew would appear sooner or later. Good story and execution (Yes I am again vague because of spoilers). “In a Mirror, Darkly part 1 and 2” for the mirror universe characters and the dark setting that is strangely so enjoyable entertaining. Finally “Demons” and “Terra Prime” for an intense story and matured themes. If all episodes were as good as these it would be a remarkable season and praiseworthy.… Expand
