They take some l liberties in changing some of the original cannon but most of it works and they still manage to pay respect to the pa past.i can't wait to see more

I am really enjoying Discovery - it is not perfect but has a lot going for it. Fun plot twists, a great visual look etc. Yes the Klingon redesign is annoying and Burnham is a bit wooden but as Season 1 progresses both of those things begin to make sense. Far superior to Enterprise and theI am really enjoying Discovery - it is not perfect but has a lot going for it. The only good part of Discovery is Lorca, Pike, Saru, Reno, book, Staments, Admiral Vance, Section 31 and the less annoying crew when not crying and hugging. But the real stars of the series is the top tier CGI, set design, costumes props and those cinematography wide shots. Worst ST series ever. Live action effects on the bridge are pathetic and so fake! Why are there flames shooting out perfectly from the same places everytime there is a bang? The sparks are perfectly coordinated too? Is this a joke? Also, why is almost everyone gay and or non binary? Its tooWorst ST series ever. Live action effects on the bridge are pathetic and so fake! This show is the lovechild of a dumpster fire and a train wreck. Just like any monstrosity of its kind, it should not have seen the light of day, yet being allowed to breathe. Alex Kurtzman cannot be forgiven for what he has done to Star Trek. Everything he touches dies. Why do people keep employing him to destroy their properties? The writers for this show are the worst ever. Kurtzman Star Trek just needs to die. Let it die, please.

A complete wasted opportunity. Alex Kurtzman and his writing team wanted to make something new and edgy. Something that beared no resemblance to any Trek before it. Well they succeeded, the problem is it has nothing to do with Star Trek. The formula of an ensemble cast seeking out new lifeA complete wasted opportunity. Kurtzman--the guy who directed the Mummy reboot and wrote the second Amazing Spiderman film is clueless to what made Star Trek great--Gene Roddenberry's vision.… Expand
