I used to love this show, but this is what happens in Season 7:

Jax shoots someone. Jax and the other Sons shoot a lot of people. Jax: I’m on an insane mission of vengeance to pile up more bodies than the Alamo and get all of us killed. A bunch of the Sons’ women are shot. Gemma’s birds, too. Jax looks pained.

Jax: I feel responsible, but everything I did was for my family.

Every episode this season seems to drag on much longer than it needs to. No need for these long drawn out music montages. Plot for each episode goes at a snail's pace leaving me to simply read a synopsis on certain episodes, because I was bored to tears by the 4th one this season.

Im pretty convinced now that 80 percent of SoA audience is made primarily of women. You have to give credit to Sutter in milking every last shot of Jax Teller's baby blue eyes criminal bad boy with a heart schtick all the way to the bitter end. Not to mention the show has become so unrealistic that it appears almost like a parody of earlier of seasons. Expand

BOOORING!!! Omg. Here's why this show scks like no other:

    - Ugly face of Gemma kissing other ugly face people. - Tara's face frowning at sht and stuff. - Gemma and Tara discussing about divorce, kids, children, and other women problem. (is this a fcn Telenovela or what???) - Man Hugs! It goes like this: 10 man hugs for 1 action sequence. These guys hug more than the gay couple

    - Same story through out all seasons: How will Jax protect his family and quit the gun business while sht happens around him.

This Show is best watch by skipping all Gemma and Tara scenes.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's like the writers took everything that made SOA great in its early seasons and wiped their butts with it in season 7. This has to hands down be one of the most depressing, brutal seasons of any show I've seen, and not in a good way.

Beloved characters are killed off without a second thought and Jax becomes pretty much unbearable to deal with. He throws a tantrum like a toddler when someone says or does something he doesn't like and kills them with no remorse. Its almost like the writers didn't know how to properly end this show, so they decided to kill 90% of the main cast off instead.

Everything felt so cluttered and rushed throughout the entire season. One episode, this person dies. Then the next episode, that person dies, rinse and repeat. There was such a never ending cycle of death in this season that I was surprised that everyone in Charming hadnt either died or moved away by the end of it.

I guess if you like nonstop gunfire and murder fests, then you'd love this season. However, it just didn't do it for me. Not a downright awful season, but very underwhelming and unsatisfying.

As the final season of the biker drama comes to an end I'm left with mixed feelings about the directions it took. Sons of Anarchy has rarely, if ever, not been an entertaining watch but it has become increasingly unrealistic season by season relying on convenient, and sometimes downright strange, plot devices far too often. This final season is particularly guilty of this, and when you add in Jax quest for vengeance that essentially undoes all of his character development, it makes for very frustrating viewing at times.

A disappointing end no doubt, but overall Sons of Anarchy hit the mark more often than it missed.

Creator Kurt Sutter has found fewer openings to lighten the show as the story has darkened, and that continues to be the case. Still, we want to know what’s going to happen, even if the odds of anything good are about the same as the odds of the show ever winning the Emmys it deserves.

While it will be interesting to see the way Sons tackles loose ends, in terms of how the series explores shades of gray, it looks like it’s all over but the shooting.
