Unbelievable the opening scene in the finale was... I mean seriously, who in the hell wants to see 10 nasty assess "on the job"!? Pathetic. From the very beginning to the very end, this show has done nothing but add to the desensitization and dumbing down of society. Nothing but trash. Go away already.

What an absolute waste of a time slot this show has become. Sons of Anarchy? How about retitling it to 'My Wife and I's Retirement' since that's what Season 7 truly is...banking the last bit of cash out of a dried up corpse of a tv show that should have disappeared 3 seasons ago. What a sad, sad waste.

What a disappointment. The best part of this whole 7th season was the final song and the end credits which let me know I did not have to watch another one of these.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After creating a new wake of enemies, SOA brainlessly wastes away the seventh season dragging out useless plot lines, committing heartless murders, creating more enemies, unnecessarily killing off major characters who actually mattered, and most disappointing of all leading two of the show's most evil characters to a simple bullet in the head, and a hypocritical, cowardly suicide. One episode after another, the show became more and more monotonous; this is truly the most poor, unsatisfying finale of a once impeccable series. Expand

Season 7 is long-winded, boring and predictable. No surprises. The ends of the episodes, the Cliffhanger, one can foresee. As an example, the end of episode 10. Even quite embarrassing. The Spectators want the slow death! The majority would like to see suffer these serial killers and mass murderers. Therefore, it is not elegant in 12 of 13 Episodes represent the Sons as smart alecks and everything dissolve quickly in the 13 episode. That would be mass-produced. For too long actually were all stupid: Cops, Chinese, Niners, Pope, the Irish, even the cartel and all authorities, etc. In contrast, "Our" suddenly stupid (-> File Gemma-Tera). Juice for Comic Character mutated. We are currently at Season 7 Episode 6
If this continues Sutter will reap a whole bush full of golden raspberries.

And shortly to the Special Guests: Collect Sutter special guests, personally? Who needs Marilin Manson (... is the leader of the Aryan a gay Buebchen?). Hole, who needs Hole? Even from Henry Rolins one was a little disappointed. But this only in passing. The dramatic failure of the seventh season are much more devastating.

It turned out to be more of a melodrama than the most schmaltzy soap opera. It felt like the writers tried to do too much. The plot twists jumped back and forth to the point of ridiculousness. One minute Jax is working with a rival gang, the next he's setting them up and mowing them all down, and the very next he needs to work with them again and so all it takes is a simple explanation in his deep reassuring voice, "I was lied to, otherwise I wouldn't have killed your guys, you know you can trust me." And so of course they do because that's where the ridiculous plot needs to go.

Jax was always portrayed as struggling with his conscience to the point where he actually wanted the club to get out of crime. Now he's suddenly mowing down people left and right, including innocent civilians, without a care in the world. I get that the writers want to appear dark and edgy, but you can only slaughter so many people before the believability takes a hit. And in between Jax psycopathically ping-ponging from one murder to the next, while his club dutifully follows along, is the heavy-handed sentimentality, the repetitive proclamations of "I love you, brother" from the club, who all barely seem to notice the incessant mass murder all around them.

This season was like the anti-Breaking Bad. That show carefully crafted every scene to create a very deliberate and purposeful pacing; SoA 7 tried to cram as much junk as possible into it no matter how nonsensical.

SOA is teetering on the brink of being television's worst show. It now makes the writers of "The Following" look like the Breaking Bad team. Amazing how the feds and the local cops just can't catch the Sons committing a felony given that all their misdeeds are done in broad daylight, non stop. It's early, but Sons is giving Dexter a run for worst final season ever.

sono voluto venire qui a recensire ed informare chi leggesse,in italia, che deve starne alla larga e sprecare il tempo ludico nel vedere qualche altro serial che meriti uno svolgimento,ed una conclusione, meritevoli o quantomeno decorosi.

The reviews in my Fan-Forum all agree: Season 7 is bad! All had a great psychodrama expected a grand finale. Instead, the series mutates into a lengthy mass. Here separate the wheat from the chaff. While Gilligan managed to tie up to the last second, bored Sutter. He destroyed the entire work. Keep a low profile. Make quotas. Poor customer retention scheme. Very disappointing, underperforming! Sadly for a good series so far. Expand

Creator Kurt Sutter has found fewer openings to lighten the show as the story has darkened, and that continues to be the case. Still, we want to know what’s going to happen, even if the odds of anything good are about the same as the odds of the show ever winning the Emmys it deserves.

While it will be interesting to see the way Sons tackles loose ends, in terms of how the series explores shades of gray, it looks like it’s all over but the shooting.
