This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. SOA S7 comes to an end, and what an end it was. Jax has given the MC the best change its has had in a LONG time at reaching the goals he and his Father wanted for there Club. I'm surprised that there are so many haters "hating" on the show, and with that Said, I feel that those people really didn't understand the idea behind the show in the 1st place and should maybe go watch day of our lives or something to that nature. Kurt has managed to do something a lot of other directors cant. He made you both love and hate (at the same time) the people within the show. He made you question your own values! Made you reach into the dark little part of your sole that you don't want to acknowledge is there. The Team at SOA have made this show an interesting ride. Sex Drugs Death and Redemption is what this show was about and it give it to us in ACES. If I had one thing I would have like to see, is a snap shot of the club a few years down the track without JAX, and all the chaos. I but I guess that is up to us and how we want them to be! To all the haters? I'm surprised you know enough about the show to be able to write such detailed information. You must have very boring and unfilled lives! why did you watch it at all? I'm sure Kurt wouldn't come to your place of work and slap the slushed out of your hand! In truth the show pushed us (as fans) to the limits, and as Fans we wanted to be push to the edge and look over into the abyss which was SOA. there will never be another show like SONS for years to come! Well played Kurt, Well played. Expand

Sons of Anarchy is a great show with an amazing story line. Sons of Anarchy Season 7 did a great job rapping everything up. I wouldn't consider season 7 to be a ten compared to the rest of the seasons but it sure was exciting. I could never leave my seat watching this nail biting thriller. The longer you watch this show the better it gets.

The substance/character development have long ago left town. I'm sticking with it until the end though since I've already committed to the first 6 seasons. However, if I had a dollar for how many people are/will be dying this season I could probably retire already...a bit over the top.

I think some have tired over its run because the show doesn't flinch in what it has chosen to depict. I think some people were holding on that somehow their hopes would be fulfilled for Jax getting out of the crime life. Its been a tragedy from the start. I can see if some people can't handle the brutality anymore, but it's not a relevant criticism for the show to me, at least when speaking to the quality. That is just admitting that the show isn't for you. In the writing and acting department, this show delivers, and has always delivered. I trust Kurt Sutter, which is hard to say about very many other writers on television. From an emotional standpoint, however, it does grow taxing to watch so much **** hit the fan for 7 seasons. Every episode this season seems to drag on much longer than it needs to. No need for these long drawn out music montages. Plot for each episode goes at a snail's pace leaving me to simply read a synopsis on certain episodes, because I was bored to tears by the 4th one this season.

I don't consider the 7th season to be a 10, but since I see too much 0-2 ratings, I decided to put 10. SoA, as always, is a great show. I must say that this season is much darker and more serious than others. At some moments it seems too much(I mean, how many people can you kill, ffs). All in all, it's still a great show. I hope the prequel is going to happen. Thank you, Kurt.

What an absolute waste of a time slot this show has become. Sons of Anarchy? How about retitling it to 'My Wife and I's Retirement' since that's what Season 7 truly is...banking the last bit of cash out of a dried up corpse of a tv show that should have disappeared 3 seasons ago. What a sad, sad waste.

Sons of Anarchy was like fine red wine: it just got better with age. Unfortunately, in this, its final season, it appears we're now past the expiration date. You never want your favorite series to end, especially one that that hooks you with drama as edgy as it has been, you want it to continue as long as it STAYS good.

The show has always been about Jax, the protagonist in a modern-day retelling of a classic Shakespearean tragedy. And part of the allure has been the connection the audience has with Jax, an anti-hero we root for as he strives to keep his moral compass as injustice after injustice pounds on his soul. His son. Opie. Now Tara.

In the final scene of the season premiere, while epic in execution, we lose that connection as he executes some patsy fingered by the real killer. The emotional resonance we've felt in the past regardless of what gruesome deed he is doing just isn't there anymore, as he tortures and kills this poor guy. That being said, the montage of scenes set to a cover of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is film-making at its best.

Show-runner Kurt Sutter's original music selection continues to a show highlight. In the season's second episode, he overlays "Till its Gone" by Yelawolf for the episode's ending montage which adds significant emotional gravitas to intertwined scenes. It's worth just to see these ending montages "until its gone."

Therefore, it is not elegant in 12 of 13 Episodes represent the Sons as smart alecks and everything dissolve quickly in the 13 episode. That would be mass-produced. For too long actually were all stupid: Cops, Chinese, Niners, Pope, the Irish, even the cartel and all authorities, etc. In contrast, "Our" suddenly stupid (-> File Gemma-Tera). Juice for Comic Character mutated. We are currently at Season 7 Episode 6
If this continues Sutter will reap a whole bush full of golden raspberries.

And shortly to the Special Guests: Collect Sutter special guests, personally? Who needs Marilin Manson (... is the leader of the Aryan a gay Buebchen?). Hole, who needs Hole? Even from Henry Rolins one was a little disappointed. But this only in passing. The dramatic failure of the seventh season are much more devastating.

One minute Jax is working with a rival gang, the next he's setting them up and mowing them all down, and the very next he needs to work with them again and so all it takes is a simple explanation in his deep reassuring voice, "I was lied to, otherwise I wouldn't have killed your guys, you know you can trust me." And so of course they do because that's where the ridiculous plot needs to go.

Jax was always portrayed as struggling with his conscience to the point where he actually wanted the club to get out of crime. Now he's suddenly mowing down people left and right, including innocent civilians, without a care in the world. I get that the writers want to appear dark and edgy, but you can only slaughter so many people before the believability takes a hit. And in between Jax psycopathically ping-ponging from one murder to the next, while his club dutifully follows along, is the heavy-handed sentimentality, the repetitive proclamations of "I love you, brother" from the club, who all barely seem to notice the incessant mass murder all around them.

This season was like the anti-Breaking Bad. That show carefully crafted every scene to create a very deliberate and purposeful pacing; SoA 7 tried to cram as much junk as possible into it no matter how nonsensical.

SOA is teetering on the brink of being television's worst show. It now makes the writers of "The Following" look like the Breaking Bad team. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's like the writers took everything that made SOA great in its early seasons and wiped their butts with it in season 7. This has to hands down be one of the most depressing, brutal seasons of any show I've seen, and not in a good way.

Beloved characters are killed off without a second thought and Jax becomes pretty much unbearable to deal with. He throws a tantrum like a toddler when someone says or does something he doesn't like and kills them with no remorse. Its almost like the writers didn't know how to properly end this show, so they decided to kill 90% of the main cast off instead.

Everything felt so cluttered and rushed throughout the entire season. One episode, this person dies. Then the next episode, that person dies, rinse and repeat. There was such a never ending cycle of death in this season that I was surprised that everyone in Charming hadnt either died or moved away by the end of it.

I guess if you like nonstop gunfire and murder fests, then you'd love this season. However, it just didn't do it for me. Not a downright awful season, but very underwhelming and unsatisfying.
