Enjoyed the show quite a bit though the plot rushed in the last episode. Thought all the principal and supporting cast were great especially Martindale and Garety. I seem to like everything that Graham Yost backs.

,Suspense, action, family and friendship values, Perhaps the end is wrapped too tightly, too many things going on at the same time. But, anyway , worth watching. Entertaining guaranteed

Engaging, well-acted, and thoroughly entertaining. Ribisi, who has long been a supporting actor, at last shines in a leading role tailor made just for his special set of neurotic skills. And what a pleasure to see Mr. Cranston (a.k.a. Walter White) back in arguably his best role since the show that started it all, "Breaking Bad." This one's a winner through and through. Watch now!

A fun to watch comic strip style of show. A little over the top in plot but fun to watch. The acting was excellent and featured many familiar faces. Definitely worth a look.

Great show. Interesting and compelling story line. Ribisi is perfect for the part of a life long con, and Cranston is solid as the small-time mob boss, but it's Margot Martindale that brings the show home. She is pure gold. The show may slip a bit here and there in trying to blend in some comic relief, but the plot turns carry the day while remaining believable. Too bad one of theGreat show. Too bad one of the reviewers seems to have gotten things backwards by posting kind words while submitting a ZERO. Probably has a lot to do with the show pulling 6.9 right now, I expected higher and it should get their with more reviews. Definitely belongs in the 7.5 to 8.5 range. Check it out. Expand

'Sneaky Pete' is plenty of fun when it is almost taken by its very talented cast. It has the certain amount of jokes but sometimes it can get a bit tiresome by not going straightforward to its point.

This series is just something else, it's amazing and it's always engaging, Giovanni Ribisi is perfect for the role and Bryan Cranston nails his performance, personally one of the best new tv shows this TV season, it's not talked about enough by the public

It's ok, but everyone besides "Pete" is woefully miscast, especially Bryan Cranston. Gliding along on his character from "Breaking Bad" isn't going to cut it here.

There are also WAY too many similarities between this and "Better Call Saul," which is, of course, about another white guy con artist. I think I'll continue watching it though, if for no other reason than there's really

It's a nice tv show, the pilot wasn't so good, but the arrival of Graham Yost after episode 1 as a producer completely changes the deal, we can see some common faces from Justified !!!

Great show spoiled only by the frantic rush to neatly tie up all the plot strands.

I hate shows that plod on relentlessly and, let's be honest, most of them do (yes I mean you, 'How To Get Away With Murder'), but this could have done with a further episode or two to reach its conclusion.

Very enjoyable show. It is really entertaining, but it has a whole bunch of flaws, biggest of which is being realistic at a few points. Still, a good show, though the ending twist was very silly in my opinion.

Very watchable show. Just don't expect much from it, but it is easy and fun to watch. I would have given it an 8 or 9 but the directing is just a little sloppy sometimes, some of the actors are just meh, and I wasn't a huge fan of the finale. But I'll definitely watch season 2.

I love it! Just watched the whole series in one night. I don't usually watch drama series, but I love Giovanni so I thought, "I'll just watch one." Only Ribisi can make a con man in to some one you want to hug (but hold on to your wallet and watch.) Margot Martindale is great as always too. I never cared for Bryan Cranston as he is the smarmiest of the smarmy, but his part calls for it and it fits, so it works. Thankfully for me, his on scene time is mostly short, so I can enjoy the rest of the characters. Expand

It is "Justified" less sexy brother. The beginning is considerably slower than the second half, but at the end, you would be disappointed that second season had been canceled (at least I think so). Performance of Bryan Cranston is also a letdown.

I started watching it as a lark, I was bored and getting ready for work so I started it. Halfway through the first episode I was all in.

I have always liked Giovani Ribisi as an actor. From Saving Private Ryan to Dads, to Avatar. I realize he isn’t what is considered in the superstar status but he is one of those character actors that is great to watch. When you saddle him with Margot

I realize he isn’t what is considered in the superstar status but he is one of those character actors that is great to watch. When you saddle him with Margot Martindale, another awesome character actor you get a lot of good show.

He plays a con man who goes by Pete, who is being hunted after tour in prison. He spent the last few years in prison listening to the stories of the perfect family from his cellmate. He gets out and infiltrates his cell-mate’s family as the cellmate (the cellmate hadn’t seen his family for 20 years or so) using the stories he was told. He does this to avoid the man he owes money to, the phenomenal Bryan Cranston.

The first season covers how he has to then save his brother from Bryan Cranston, while maintaining his new identity. Oh, and the kicker is that the family is a bail bond family, meaning they deal with criminals and are involved in working with the law. This throws even more stress on Pete.

Pros: The storytelling is good but what sells it is the acting by everyone involved.

Cons: Some of the plot lines are typical “keep your identity” shenanigans. It doesn’t handle it badly, I just hate that kind of thing.

From the pilot episode Sneaky Pete is entertaining enough and Giovanni Ribisi, generally more of a supporting actor, is very good in the lead role. For the first half of the season however it doesn’t really do all that much that you won’t have seen before in other ‘con-man’ shows or movies and, throughout the ten episodes on offer here, there are a few too many examples of ‘lazy writing’ with unlikely coincidences or people almost getting caught out doing something stupid being used in order create false tension for example. Promisingly the show does get stronger as it reaches its climax and I’ll certainly tune in for the already confirmed second season when it is available.

I wasn't sure what to expect from Sneaky Pete, but I loved it. Plenty of plot twists, and the plot twists help the story and make sense, unlike some shows where the plot twists don't make sense. If you like shows about devious con-artists, and shows which also have a human side, then you will probably enjoy Sneaky Pete.

At first you’re rolling your eyes at what seems an absurd stretch of a premise, but soon enough you’re buying its always-on-edge predicaments and after a few episodes you’re hooked into its story-upon-story acrobatics. Pete may be sneaky, but he’s not dull.

By the time you reach the cliffhanger--which did not leave me excited to check out season two, even though I generally liked season one--you’ll probably have recognized Sneaky Pete for the largely fun, largely inoffensive, largely unnecessary trifle it is. But, hey, TV needs trifles too.
