Sharknado 4 is at the least, bad. its nowhere near perfect but yet it doesn't have to be, its wilder and more wacky then just about any movie youll ever see but if you dont like comedies do not watch it

A great movie to play while you have friends over. It doesn't get much more entertaining than this. Sharknado should be embraced for all it's ridiculousness, and is probably the funniest movie I've seen this year. Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens is so horrible that you can't help but love it.

The Sharknado franchise stands as my all time favorite guilty pleasures and I'm very happy to report that The 4th Awakens continues the absurdity of what make these films so enjoyable to watch. Going even more over the top than the last, it's gleefully stupid and doesn't apologize for being so. It's without a 10/10 on entertainment but as a overall film, not to much.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I had to give this a 10 people. I mean c'mon for crimeny's sake! Sharknado is what it is.
In this one Tara Reid is a friggin' Cyborg. Ian Ziering has attained superpowers. David Hasselhof, did you see him try to run to that car? Hilarious! And a Twister Cownado take off, plus Gilbert F'ing Gottfried!!!
This stuff I just mentioned is 1/100 of the awesome badness that is Sharknado 4. Rating something this bad with a low score is actually an oxymoron IMO. Rock on Asylum/SyFy!!!!! Sharknado 5 can only be an improvement on the badness. :o)

So obviously at this point you are either on board with Sharknado or not. The series is still reveling in it's own absurdity. The 4th Awakens is without a doubt the biggest, silliest, and dumbest Sharknado yet. The movie's desire to go even more over the top has lead to inclusion of sci-fi elements. Futuristic technology and robot people join the fray. As to be expected the special effects are low-budget bad. Something that at this point is very likely intentional to sell that B-movie feel. The only problem with that is the movie's opening relies so much on them and combined with the choppy direction it's hard to really grasp what's going on until it's smack in front of your face.

One thing that's kind of disappointing is that, while still present, the sharks take somewhat of a smaller role to the tornado itself. A reoccurring gag throughout the movie is seeing just how many elements the tornado can take up. It's like the writers got together and wanted to see how many words they could throw in front of nado for a laugh. Given the minds behind this, that's might actually have been what happened.

It's simply more Sharknado. It's intentionally stupid, cheesy, and outright bad. That series' full-fledged embracing of this makes things a lot of fun though. It's the kind of movie that wants to you to both laugh with it and at it. Something it's self-aware nature makes very easy to do.

This film is excellent, best film of all, but it's too short, so score is 0, they shouldve made it 10 hour long, for such an excellent film even 6 hours is not enough

Wow, not sure what they were going for here. But there comes a point when you're watching a movie starring Tara Reid, David Hasselhoff and Gary Busey that you have to wonder how it got made, especially in 2016. This movie also steals from "Star Wars," "The Terminator" and other much better movies. It is horrid.

This franchise is getting worse and worse with every movie. The first one was enjoyable, but 2,3 and now 4 are trying to hard to be 'special', to be 'over the top' that I don't enjoy watching them. Do yourself a favor and ignore this movie wherever you find it, because it really isn't worth your time.

GET OVER IT, it is to much too much sharknado it has blown the whole goddamn franchise apart. Movies were good but it got old. Just because your franchise dies does not mean make another one its non original has lack of entertainment i refuse to watch this sharknado i am over the lack of originality 0/10

I would not even have considered this being possible at all, but this movie turned out being even worse than the rest of the series COMBINED.

The main complaint is that not only the intentionally badly made entirety of that movie is already a cruelty, but they had to exaggerate like everything possibly being able to exaggerate to make the horrible content even worse. This movie is not

The main complaint is that not only the intentionally badly made entirety of that movie is already a cruelty, but they had to exaggerate like everything possibly being able to exaggerate to make the horrible content even worse. This movie is not only overloaded with bad properties, there is a literal OVERKILL of EXAGGERATION of everything that is already at worst.
Unlike the first movie, this one is not even closely entertaining for exactly that fact; SHARKNADO 4 quickly shows off as a cathastrophic mess of overstatement that tries to be more than it can be and after only a little while you will get sick of watching this proof for human stupidity, so it may have my compassionate and upset 1 of ten points.
As the first two, maybe even the third film of the series have somewhat become goods of culture, this one here should clearly be abolished and abandoned from watchers memory, as it can not under any aspects still count as work or fall under the cathegory of "Mockbusters", as it's even a shame for that genre. Just. Don't. Watch. You will regret.

Never seen a movie i liked less but its sharknado and they somehow get money for it that is justice enough. To me it makes the movie deserve a 10 because I know I wouldn't be able to make a trash movie series continue fro this long.

The 4th Awakens is all over the place, both geographically and in its confused, unfocused storytelling.

What remains is the dullest and most loathsome kind of movie out there, the kind that uses its overtly sarcastic tone to shield from any criticism.

The fourth one isn't as much silly fun of the first two, but it's a few bites better than last summer's dismal "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!"
