The Wachowskis seem self-conscious, trying to teach politcal and social awareness instead of just telling a story..the writers seem to be bought their own hype.. The second season was disappointing. Most reviewers seem to like the second season better than the first. But I found not enough plot and too much pointless action in the second season.

The best thing season two does is dig into both how alluring and how dangerous the sensates’ connection is.

Television is the medium that grants auteurs the most creativity. It can lead to indulgent storytelling, but in the case of a series like Sense8, real artistry, too.

For all its evident ambition, and its veneer of inclusion, Sense8 is no more interested in the messy details of progress than The Avengers.
