Very entertaining and clever. My favorite characters in the show are Sun and Wolfgang. This show is not for everyone. But I definitely enjoy it. The camera is brilliant

What a great experience! Season was needed a bit of pushing (and patience), but season 2 absolutely rocked it! Character development was sensational and the story line progressed at a much faster pace. I cant wait until season 3.

This show is absolutely amazing. The cinematography, the music, the colour scheme. Everything is beautiful and perfectly at pace. The way transition from character to character is so smoothly. It's mind boggling. And the new season is a perfect **** you' to everything that needs to get better in our world. I totally recommend it.

'Sense8' is a celebration of life, love and all things that are more important in this life. Although this season focuses more on storyline development, one can only say that it is one hell of a ride.

It suffices to say that season 2 was leagues above the first season and there must be a third one cause we have so many questions that need answers. I hope the wait won't be as long this time.

A touch better than season 1, with more art, more music, and more fun. I always found Sense8 a little bit of an awkward show, especially with all the sex, but nonetheless, the season was a fascinating pickup from the first season and kept me entertained for a few days.

Season 2 of Sense8 brings the idea that the first season represented to a head with its variation of character combinations and storylines. You feel for the characters and their relationships, both inside their "cluster" (the group of eight intertwined people) and out. They are the heart of this story and it works wonders. You feel for their problems, their identities, and their uniqueness. Each person has a clear problem and personality that wasn't felt in the first season.

Juggling eight main characters and storylines is difficult, but this season manages it better than the first, bringing together the weaker characters (either physically or within their minds) and testing different pairings. There are times where I forgot about a character or noticed that the show wasn't spending enough time on one, but these were few and far between; this season handles it far better than the first.

The editing and cinematography in this second season fairs far better than the first season because the directors allow it to get dramatic. These fights are no longer one on one, and I felt myself rooting for the protagonists that I don't think I have before. Every time the sensates come together to solve a problem, I end up shouting from my computer for them to succeed. There are hints in this season of what this show can possibly do to trump what they have done, even now, and I cannot wait to see what the developers have in store for the next season.

Though the excitement from the novelty of the concept introduced in the first season has worn off, the series has done well to keep viewers interested in what happens to the eight characters after their sense8 revelation and where they end up. This season is full of action and heart and by the end, one craves to know how this crazy journey ends.

So, so painful to watch. The trans character is obviously the writer (who is trans) working through their family/mommy/acceptance issues and the like in public and dragging the audience along with rather than working through it on the couch with a therapist. If I was interested in that, I'd watch a different show about it. None of this has anything to do with the show or story, much like the other character's totally contrived dramas but that one is the worst. The ending to the season was shameful, I've never seen a worse ending to a season in my life. 2/3 of the episode is total nonsense and then a twist at the end that needed to be set up throughout the season for it to land properly but instead of spending time on the only thing that matters, the Sense8 plot thread, they spend it at gay pride, tranny weddings, dramas about breakups and get-togethers that just aren't believable. Really embarrassing show for Netflix, I wouldn't have put my name on this crap if I were them and for the writers, ugh, just the worst and overly indulgent pile of nonsense ever. Never watching anything with their name on it again and I hope they retire as the world does not need more steaming piles of crap in it than it already has. Expand

The second season was disappointing. Most reviewers seem to like the second season better than the first. But I found not enough plot and too much pointless action in the second season.

The senate's connections this time around is stronger, they're like best friends now, always there for each other, it's really easy to like these characters, and resonate with at least one of them, and as a watcher, it was always easy to wanna keep watching. I'd say the only issue with this season, which isn't the shows fault, was the replacement of caphesus' actor. I do however like how they touched on it in the season premiere, but it was just a little weird at first, and felt like I had to relearn the character a little bit. There was also a few times when the show dipped, again, very few, but those moments were there. Either way, this season is definitely a must watch if you were a fan of the show's first. Expand

Television is the medium that grants auteurs the most creativity. It can lead to indulgent storytelling, but in the case of a series like Sense8, real artistry, too.

For all its evident ambition, and its veneer of inclusion, Sense8 is no more interested in the messy details of progress than The Avengers.
