Besides the first season spent looking for Chantal, Season 4 is Dory’s best arc yet. She’s still trying to find herself, and although it sounds counterintuitive, being trapped frees an untapped side of Dory. Read full review

The momentum of the season really comes together when Drew, Portia, and Elliott are reunited with a purpose, finally allowing the show to feel like it did in those first two seasons again. It’s then that the fourth season of “Search Party” feels like it’s finally...sorry...found itself, and it really sticks the best season finale since the first year. Read full review

Drew, Portia, and Elliott’s early-season character arcs end up getting the short shrift once they band together to rescue Dory, but even if Search Party feels more disjointed than ever, it still boasts plenty of its trademark deadpan humor. This is Search Party’s most-morbid season to be certain. It’s recommendable to die-hard enthusiasts of the show’s willy-nilly grotesqueries, but people looking for this fan fave’s true-crime comedy may feel like they’re searching for something missing themselves. Read full review

So, so disappointing.
This show could of been round off perfectly at the end of season 3, but instead the attempt to keep it going results in this rather dull and pointless season.

The first 3 seasons of this show were very good, but the 4th season is painfully bad. The plot line of Dory's kidnapping and brainwashing is uncomfortable and not very believable. Chip is not very convincing as a villain. What is really terrible about the season is Dory's 3 friends whoThe first 3 seasons of this show were very good, but the 4th season is painfully bad. What is really terrible about the season is Dory's 3 friends who endlessly revive the thankfully forgotten technique that allegedly intelligent people behaving as stupidly as possible and screaming at the top of their lungs is supposed to be funny. It's not, but that's about all they do for the entire season. The other big problem is that too many scenes are drawn out far too long, as if the writers simply didn't have enough material to fill the time allotted. There are even a couple of songs that go on endlessly. The season has some moments, but far too few.… Expand
