    So, so disappointing.
    This show could of been round off perfectly at the end of season 3, but instead the attempt to keep it going results in this rather dull and pointless season.

    The first 3 seasons of this show were very good, but the 4th season is painfully bad. The plot line of Dory's kidnapping and brainwashing is uncomfortable and not very believable. Chip is not very convincing as a villain. What is really terrible about the season is Dory's 3 friends who endlessly revive the thankfully forgotten technique that allegedly intelligent people behaving asThe first 3 seasons of this show were very good, but the 4th season is painfully bad. What is really terrible about the season is Dory's 3 friends who endlessly revive the thankfully forgotten technique that allegedly intelligent people behaving as stupidly as possible and screaming at the top of their lungs is supposed to be funny. It's not, but that's about all they do for the entire season. The other big problem is that too many scenes are drawn out far too long, as if the writers simply didn't have enough material to fill the time allotted. There are even a couple of songs that go on endlessly. The season has some moments, but far too few.… Expand

    The first half of the 10-part season is much more compelling than the second, which borrows a few too many twists from daytime soaps. But the initial five chapters are Search Party at its best, especially in its satire of showbiz and the media.

    This is Search Party’s most-morbid season to be certain. It’s recommendable to die-hard enthusiasts of the show’s willy-nilly grotesqueries, but people looking for this fan fave’s true-crime comedy may feel like they’re searching for something missing themselves.

    Besides the first season spent looking for Chantal, Season 4 is Dory’s best arc yet. She’s still trying to find herself, and although it sounds counterintuitive, being trapped frees an untapped side of Dory.
