    This could be a nifty cross between "Heathers" and "The Craft." But the actors, especially Rhea and Broderick, never get loose and funky with their characters, and it makes the show listless and predictable. [27 Sept 1996, p.D18]

    Watching it again as an adult my opinion hasn't really changed. It's not completely terrible (Melissa Joan Hart does a good job in the lead role) but many of the jokes fall completely flat and the irritating laugh track only serves to reinforce this.
