    Even as a kid Sabrina The Teenage Witch never seemed to be anything more than your run of the mill kids show, yet it managed to gain huge popularity and run for seven seasons.

    Watching it again as an adult my opinion hasn't really changed. It's not completely terrible (Melissa Joan Hart does a good job in the lead role) but many of the jokes fall completely flat and the irritating laugh    Even as a kid Sabrina The Teenage Witch never seemed to be anything more than your run of the mill kids show, yet it managed to gain huge popularity and run for seven seasons.

    Sabrina isn't designed to appeal to adults, and isn't likely to do so. But if you're looking for family entertainment to watch with your kids, you should be able to sit through Sabrina fairly easily - as long as you don't mind some things that are patently ridiculous. [27 Sept 1996, p.28]
