Jul 4, 2021First two episodes are back on form, up to and in some ways better than the first two seasons. This season has delivered!!!
-
Jul 6, 2021There is absolutely nothing out there that comes close to the originality of this show, and despite it's crazy developments, it still doesn't hold back the existential and sentimental punches. 10/10

Jun 21, 2021The long-awaited new season came out. After season 4 I had some doubts about the content and continuity of the show but man.. S5E1 blew my mind. It's original, and starts out as good as the first seasons and probably even better than ever. It was gripping, it was original. Rick n Morty is back baby!

Jun 29, 2021I love the first episode it's fantabulous
-
Jun 24, 2021very deep and good show keep but probably could start the game better ( having a good feeling about the next episode

Jun 22, 2021Couldn't start better. The first episode is full of energy, original and grabs us from the first minute. I had some doubts regarding the continuity of the show after last season, but not anymore.
-
Aug 18, 2021The only downside to the show is the wait. There is so much more context and it makes it for a much more informed watch
-
Sep 21, 2021absolutely genius and innovative storytelling that never fails to impress and surprise its audience
-
Jun 29, 2021Much better the Season 4.
I'll adjust the score after I each episode, as there is plenty of time to move up or down -
Jun 21, 2021This premiere episode of season 5 has a great idea drawn to its natural conclusion that feels so very Rick and Morty and draws a lot of existential questions about the nature of time.
-
Jul 1, 2021Me ha gustado mucho. mucho más que la anterior temporada. De hecho, me la he visto del tirón
-
Jul 4, 2021Maybe not the greatest season start, but still very good. Hope Evil Morty finally appears again sometime soon.
-
Sep 7, 2021Rick and Morty doesn't quite have the consistency it once had, but it's still capable of being both shocking and very funny when it hits the mark.
-
Aug 1, 2021I kindda like this season, its better than the 4th season, IDK why is the hate tho to this season, its the same jokes and humor from the past seasons, oh maybe bc we live on a generation that gets offended with everything, and Episode 4 was too much for sensible people? Man f*ck this generation

Jul 17, 2021Something feels very different this season, it's definitely my least favorite so far. It's still very watchable but the jokes aren't landing and the show feels dumber. The meme about having to be smart to like Rick and Morty can go away for good, this season has very little depth and no themes. We're closer to a family guy kind of show than the previous R&M

Jun 26, 2021The quality is starting to slip. the season 5 opener had interesting themes, but the joke writing was on the level of a bad sitcom.
-
Aug 11, 2021I really miss the good writing of the first three seasons. There is no more progression in the story and the writers try to exaggerate every situation to catch our attention, but I personally am losing interest.

Jul 20, 2021Lazy and repetitive writing! On R&M? Yes, it's become as bad as Family Guy or the worst South Park episodes. Ep 2, 4&5 are an affront to the intelligence of viewers. Ep 3 seems to have been written by some sophomore exchange student from Denmark. It's like, as if a Netflix production, they only cared about Ep 1 and then farted all over our faces

If the quality of the first episode of season five is at all indicative of what we’ll be seeing the rest of this season, it’s probably a good thing the show’s creators took the time to get it right. The opening salvo of the new season is spectacular: insane joke density, an ever-present silliness brushing up against bad taste, awkward social situations laid bare, and hilariously tearing classic sci-fi and genre conventions a new one.
-
It’s a quite brilliant 22 minutes and one with an implicit moral.
-
The show knows how to upend its own expectations, but it’s just as satisfying to see it harness some of the manic sitcom energy it thrives on without having to be a rehashing of some unrelated property.
