Rather than giving video game fans what they want or ignoring video game fans and just doing what Paul W.S. Anderson wants, it seems like the team behind Infinite Darkness just disregarded everybody and found some room in the Resident Evil canon where they could tell a story about government conspiracies and zombie-related PTSD and lovable pretty boy Leon Kennedy. ... There’s a lot to dig in here in how Americanized propaganda finds itself even in Japanese-made survival horror franchises, and how China is consistently portrayed as a squalid hive of villains, but Infinite Darkness has a barrier to entry due to its heavy reliance on a preexisting investment in the greater Resident Evil series. I loved it. You notice right away that the series is from capcom. The CGI looks remarkably good and the series is very exciting. However, I would have preferred the series to be released as a movie due to its length.

Dont know why some people have an issue with this.. I heard it offended some sjw activists for having a riot in one episode. But if you tske oversensitivity out if it, this is a pretty cool RE story and a good set up for a second season. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Mediocre at best. Who in their right mind thought this was a good idea? I mean RE CGI movies were never this masterpiece of animated cinema, but this watered down version of Degeneration is by far the worst thing out of the 4 entries. It’s clearly rushed and it shows so freaking much, should have added context and more explanation to basically everything shown. A guy who fights to release the truth to the world and then turns out to be the villain, killing his own partner. Leon’s moments were forced, like they needed to keep him on screen at any cost. Claire was there to create this weird narrative of damsel in distress who barely can defend or think for herself. Leon has to save her because, you know, director loves Leon. He saves the establishment, creating more death and destruction (seen in 5), Claire was the worst filler ever. She didn’t deserve this treatment.… Expand

So incredibly rushed, so incredibly boring, so incredibly pointless. This has failed in all fronts. The few references to re4 were nice, but with 4 episodes each 25 min long it’s hard not to feel like this entire story was rushed and should have been longer. So disappointed. It looks like it was written by a child. Every scene ends with an explosion. Starts to get funny in a bad way. Then it is just sadness. Infinity Sadness should it be called.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Plot and writing and action in this show are terrible, although the graphics were good and the voice acting too , i would very much to return return Osmund Saddler and Los iluminados cultists.
This leon has long been terribly bored, of hoping he will be killed later in the story. Absolutely terrible boring characters were added and for some reason they added this ugly president from re4.… Expand
