Feb 10, 2022Solid action show in the vein of Banshee, if not quite as graphic. Excellent cast and well-written characters that were far more entertaining than the trailer led me to expect.
-
Feb 16, 2022A much better adaptation of the source material than Tom Cruise in the role. In an investigation details matter!

Feb 6, 2022So much better than the mis-casted movie, that's for sure. Main characters appearance is spot on and does a great Job at giving Lee Childs "Reacher" a very real/ believable face. The acting itself was on point for each and every character. Over all, the producers, cast and crew should feel proud. They nailed it.

Feb 6, 2022Much better adaption of the character than the movies. Great casting and solid writing that stays pretty true to the source material. There is a lot going on that could be tough to follow without having read the book but overall the story is well thought out. Doing only 8 episodes was absolutely the right call. Watched it all in one day

Feb 7, 2022Bang on perfect adaptation.
Finally got casting right, and followed the book. -
Feb 7, 2022Good fun show, kind of a throw back to wander vigilante shows from the 80s (put me in mind of knight rider a lot, also reminiscent for incredible hulk and a team). Alan Ritchson is a far better bit of casting for the role of Reacher than Tom Cruise was.

Feb 8, 2022This is a great adaptation to the books and a very entertaining show. There is no waiting around for something to happen, or some plot to develop. It just barrels ahead with very few breaks in the action. Alan Ritchson is perfect for this role. If you have read the books, than he is exactly who you picture to play the part. I watched this in one day and loved every second!

Feb 6, 2022Good first series, liked it a lot. Much better than that Tom Cruise miscast nonsense. Stayed pretty close to the books with some fine and some disappointing dilutions. Good use of backstory to give Reacher a little more depth for a new watcher. Casting is solid and fight scenes were a mix of innovate and ok. Lots of promise for a second series.

Feb 6, 2022It's a bit gormless, there are flashes of wit early on, but the lead just doesn't have the charisma to carry the whole show, it feels very network TV, circa 2003. Clunky stale fight choreography, and pretty poor camera work. It's inoffensive enough, but also bland.
-
Feb 5, 2022not bad ... not good... just a no brainer action sci fi serie... liked it but wouldn't watch a 2nd season

Feb 8, 2022Good adaptation of the book. The main lead is believable as Reacher and does a decent job. Makes a huge difference to the terrible movies that portrayed/miscast Reacher so badly.
-
Feb 14, 2022Well, this Reacher is certainly more true to the book but that's faint praise. It's kind of stilted and cartoonish.. maybe that was intended, but not what I was looking for.

Feb 15, 2022Very cool show that follows the story and the spirit of the books with a smart and witty performance from the lead actor. Nice production value and the post sound rocked!
-
Feb 22, 2022A throwback show to an age where a big strong dude stands up to right wrongs. In a world where men are cast in roles of being weak and foolish Reacher doubles down on being bigger and badder than everyone else to deliver justice. This series is much better than the miscasted movie. Does it hit every mark? No. Does it matter? No but it does land enough skull crushing elbows to keep you watching.

Feb 20, 2022Finally have a show with a realistic protagonist who can kick ass. My suspension of disbelief can only last for so long seeing a 110lb female throwing 250lb men around.

Feb 26, 2023Reacher would be among best shows in 2022. When people see a lot of **** in hollywood. like blood origin, resident evil, etc. Season like this one will always get rating because it matches the mind of majority. Acting was so good and the location just gave me goosebumps. If you do not want to get bored and not feel guilty for wasting your time. Then this is the series to watch
-
Feb 25, 2022The actor playing Reacher was a little stiff, but the overall show was very good. It is well worth watching and they did a good job limiting the number of episodes to six. Any more and it wouldn't move along quite as fast.
-
Feb 23, 2022Pretty great adaptation from the book, as someone who has read all of them. I would have liked to see more personality from Reacher such as his love for coffee and for food. But overall really great. I had high expectations for the show and it met those.

Mar 8, 2022Very good action show. Would recommend to any action seeking show searcher. This show is full go from start to finish.
-
Apr 8, 2022very good job after the bad adaptations in the past. A series with great potential.
It is a well-constructed drama with its screenplay and character introductions. With Alan Ritchson's performance, the series takes itself to the next level. -
May 5, 2022Reacher was a guilty pleasure. This is not brilliant tv. But it is very enjoyable . Casting is amazing , would not be surprised if the lead is cast in a Marvel project.

Fortunately for the series, [Alan Ritchson is] gifted enough—and has a sufficient sense of understated humor—to sell a Reacher-worthy combination of menace, cynicism and even grudging warmth. It's something that helps make the show one of the more watchable on TV, where there's certainly no shortage of crime series.
-
Reacher 2.0 is cleverly plotted, perfectly paced and isn't short of depth.
-
It is a show that knows exactly what it is and what it needs to be, providing an entertaining catharsis in seeing Reacher take down those who abuse their power. He is capable of just about anything, for better or worse. ... Whatever path Reacher ends up taking, as long as he is played by Ritchson, the material is in good hands.
