Summary: As May 9 approaches, Punky makes the connection that Cherie disappears every year on that day. Pressured by Punky's constant questioning, Cherie finally acknowledges that May 9 is the anniversary of her parents' tragic death. Punky feels guilty for re-opening an old wound and helps her friend come to terms with her pain.
