    Season 3 extends or recreates arcs from the past, hoping that familiarity will breed a rose-colored fondness.

    In order for its story to work, the characters have to be where we left them, which is not what almost any of them wanted. But it comes to feel dour, tonally unbalanced — a party one cannot wait to leave.

    It’s a shame that we only get six new episodes, but this long awaited return fares a lot better than the majority of revivals (Arrested Development, The X-Files, Heroes to name but a few), and more than lives up to it’s original run.     Just as strong as it was 10 years ago. I would have liked more than 6 episodes though as the original series had 10 episodes per season. It isJust as strong as it was 10 years ago.
