Great show. Characters are perfect. Episode 3 is epic. Can’t wait for the rest of the show.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Who are the critics giving this 4/5?! It's just about OK, but there are so many stupid bits, I don't understand the intelligence of reviewers raving about it. There is a scene where they come up against a lazer gate in the desert and instead of WALKING AROUND IT, they have to turn off the gate?! There are Benny Hill style action scenes. It's only saved from being awful by the performances, but all the actors deserve a better script and story than this. Expand

Very decently done. It's great to see that Stars Wars is trying very earnestly to do right by their true fans by giving us something that we've wanted to see for a while. I just hope that this is the end of them relying on characters that we already know the ending for and their future stories will involve new characters.

The reconnect with the previous films, long missed characters & the great casting have won me over. Add in the great effects and (so far, epi 3) interesting story - i'm glad this isn't as poor as boba fett became.

It's perfection. Think of the time before and the time ahead, he is exactly who he is supposed to be. We may feel sorry for Ben but this is his role in the larger scheme of things. The tone is perfect, and the contrast between Ben and Vader makes it so fun to watch.

Half of the action is camp, with Benny Hill inspired chase scenes galore. There are some stand out moments with Obi Wan, but sadly they are too few and far between. The villainess is perhaps the greatest detective in the world, and seems to be in all regards over powered, which makes the show trying to have us root for her over her other Sith counterparts difficult, though not as difficultHalf of the action is camp, with Benny Hill inspired chase scenes galore. In my country we have a street named after Obi-Wan Kenobi. That’s how much popular this character is. This show gives him no justice and it’s made the same way as The Last Jedi. If u like the last Jedi u will like this show too.

Don't let the racists win. It's a good series so far. Standout performances by Ewan McGregor and Moses Ingram. Looking forward to where it b leads.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Such a fantastic show so far. Between the story, the characters, the connections with other Star Wars media, the cameos, and the acting…Just Bravo. Little Leia is an absolutely amazing addition as is 3rd Sister Reva (Youngling from the order 66 scene anyone?) Episodes 2 and 3 kept me on the edge of my seat and the cliffhangers keep me craving more. Ewan is again fantastic as Kenobi as well as Hayden as both Anakin and Vader and it was so wonderful for James Earl Jones, Jimmy Smits, and Joel Edgerton to reprise their roles. I fully understand now why Ewan was genuinely afraid to act with Vader. Absolutely ruthless portrayal of Darth Vader at his prime that was more than due. I hadn’t been so scared of him since playing Fallen Order! Taking off a half star until Kenobi says "Hello there" Expand

It's a moving exploration of Obi-Wan's trauma anchored by an amazing performance from Ewan McGregor. This is why Star Wars fans wanted an Obi-Wan show so much. We knew it was a recipe for something meaningful.

I am so pleased with what they're doing in this series. Easily some of the best Star Wars content. I'm glad the prequels are getting some love, and I'm so happy they finally brought back the original actors and gave them scripts they can shine with. Must see for any star wars fan!

A brilliant addition to the Star Wars world; it has a lot more depth to it than the original trilogy, but adds a perspective to the end of the Clone Wars and the time between Three and Four we haven't yet seen.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A great mature piece of work, with classic Vadar introduction that pays homage to both the original triology and prequals. Throughly enjoying the show, it sets a good pace for thought and builds nicely into the characters without rushing you through. Some great parallels with the characters, show how much passion has been put into this by the team who created it. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After the third episode I can happily say that I am currently loving this series, the acting so far from Ewan is outstanding and finally getting to see Vader in his true form was fantastic, the slight horror-like episode done wonders showing the true fear that people had for Vader. Little Leia is hilarious and adorable at the same time with incredible acting and great lines. The inquisitors parts at the moment are the only real issue I have, the acting itself is great, it’s just at a lore point, some of their actions don’t feel true to their character but nothing that truly ruins anything. Reva herself is a character to be hated. But I feel like that’s the point, she isn’t meant to be a character to be loved as even the inquisitors don’t want to deal with her, Moses herself feels great, She brings a great dynamic to the show which leaves me wondering where her true intentions may actually lie. Only time will tell… the only real worry I have is that some plot holes are currently there which I’m hoping will end up sorting itself out by the end of the series. Over all, a fantastic watch and I’m exited for what the next few episodes will bring. Expand

The actress playing Leia is adorable and completely embodies the attitude of a 10yo space princess!! True fans and casual fans alike will love this show. Expand

Obi-Wan had a larger problem: It was dumb as a rock. Simple rules of spatial logic went out the window. Main characters kept almost killing each other, and then walking away long enough for their wounded opponent could recover.

McGregor is wholly up to the challenge of shouldering the emotional weight of this series, which feels less like a cynical cash grab (despite being that) than a natural continuation of the saga that Lucas crafted more than two decades ago.

Ewan McGregor was last seen as Obi-Wan, he brings more depth, more of a world-weary wisdom to the role. ... As is the case with many a “Star Wars” title, the dialogue sometimes borders on the corny, but director Deborah Chow (“The Mandalorian”) has a keen sense of pacing and a distinct visual style that holds our interest even in the quieter moments. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is off to a roaring start.
