Sep 24, 2014I liked it. I like the feel and the atmosphere, the characters are diverse yet familiar. It has a very romanticized version of things. I am fond of the main stars Scott Bakula and CCH Pounder, although I hope Scott Bakula's New Orleans accent gets better as the series goes on.

Apr 11, 2015To say I love NCIS: NO would be a bit strong, but I do enjoy it and do always look forward to the next episode. I find the cast pleasing both as individuals and as a team. Like NCIS: LA, it is a distinct entity and not just a clone of the original NCIS. Compared to the other major action/thriller spin-off of this season, CSI: Cyber, it is positively wonderful!

Nov 24, 2014Awesome show! I don't want to miss this one! I really hope they will make another season. Even though i never watched the original NICS, this show made me curious.

Mar 22, 2016I dont like the new black girl. But, I like the show as a whole very much and all the other characters. I am also an avid watcher of the original NCIS.

May 23, 2016I do wish this and other programs would check their terminology. Just watched episode 23 - scuba diving major part of plot - there is air NOT oxygen in scuba tanks!! and the bend/air embolism mix up too. yeesh

It's the strong sense of family within the team that's going to keep viewers coming back.

There's enough detail in the setting and characterization to keep it distinct from the mothership, but also more than enough of the template (down to the freeze-frame tic at the open and close of each act) to make it go down like a comforting plate of crawfish etouffee.

The plot of the pilot, which begins with the discovery of a severed leg in a load of shrimp, is clever enough and manages to fit a lot of locations into its 40-minute hour. That time is also filled with cornball dialogue, shameless sentimentality and B-movie displays of toughness.
