I loved, LOVED season 1 more than anything else I watched last year. But season 2 is just horrible.

All of the magic that made this show amazing is just plain gone. It's not funny, clever, or engrossing anymore.

I don't understand how this show went downhill so quickly.

Really liked season 1 but 2nd one was a big disappointment. I barely forced myself to watch through it and wondered why i wasted my time. If you're outta ideas just let it rest.

Loved season-1, wished it were longer. Had a hard time sitting through season-2.

Season 2 is a homogenized, generic shell of the first season. The quirkiness, humor and top-notch writing are gone -- it has more of a Lifetime-movie quality. When the 1st season came out, I binged it -- no choice, it was so good I couldn't stop. Once you finish a season-2 episode, there's no urge to

Mozart In The Jungle may always just be out of reach of the “Great TV” pantheon, but it’s always watchable being entirely itself.

Beyond such winking moments [of insider-ish jokes], though, the second season of Mozart feels slacker than did the first, which was released a year ago.

Mozart in the Jungle is at its best when it's being whimsical. It's at its worst when it's trying to force laughs.
