    Mozart In The Jungle may always just be out of reach of the “Great TV” pantheon, but it’s always watchable being entirely itself.

    I loved, LOVED season 1 more than anything else I watched last year. But season 2 is just horrible.

    Season 2 is a homogenized, generic shell of the first season. The quirkiness, humor and top-notch writing are gone -- it has more of a Lifetime-movie quality. When the 1st season came out, I binged it -- no choice, it was so good I couldn't stop. Once you finish a season-2 episode, there's no urge to immediately watch the next.    … Full Review »
