Luke isn't the cute little boy anymore, Halley is not the girl who fights with her parents 24/7 anymore, Alex is not even appearing, where is she? Alex's plot this season is "She is now halley's friend", that's it. I know, I know, they're growing up. But there's a lot of another plots that could have been explored with their age, and Modern Family is not doing that. Modern Family is not exploring the funny situations. Modern Family is not deep like it used to be. THIS Modern Family is not the real Modern Family. Now, it's just a regular comedy series. I really hope Modern Family's 7th season be as good as the first ones. I'm done with this season. Full Review »

I thought the first 2 episodes were as charming and as funny as always - in fact I feel like they have lifted their game following a slightly disappointing 5th series. I really hope that they keep this up for the entire 6th season because if they do, it will end up match the quality of seasons 1-4. Loving the Lilly, Cam and Mitchell dynamic as as well. Haven't missed a single episode since the Sept. 2009 debut, but with the season six premiere "Modern Family" has officially jumped the shark.Haven't missed a single episode since the Sept. 2009 debut, but with the season six premiere "Modern Family" has officially jumped the shark. The script by comedy veteran Danny Zuker was so bad I can't believe they agreed to produce it. Every scene rang hollow, as if the writer and director had never seen a single episode of this series. Comedy as desperate and hacky as Ed O'Neill's "Married With Children." I hope to God it returns to form next week or it will be put to shame by the syndicated reruns of the previous five near-perfect seasons. Full Review »
