Summary: We are introduced to the life in Los Angeles during the 1940s' where Police-Detective Joe Teague get's a mysterious message telling him to meet at Bunny's Jungle Club. There Joe meets a comedian named Hecky, who offers him a moonlighting gig as a bodyguard for insurance since he plans to blackmail the mob.
