    Unbelievable how bad this show is. Teela looks like a man now. She has the classic personality disorder haircut that implies that she is not into men.

    Poor Dialoges, Poor Character Design, Nothing makes Sense, Teelas reactions especially make no sense. This is cultural vandalism like Terminator Dark Fate, Disney Star Wars Trilogy and so on. This show is done be people who hate He-Man    Unbelievable how bad this show is. Teela looks like a man now. She has the classic personality disorder haircut that implies that she is not into men.

    (1) He-man is hardly at all in the show. You might as well call it the Teela show.
    (2) Characters motivation doesn't make sense at all.
    (3) Kevin Smith had to bs. He should have gone clean.

    This show is a complete disrespect of the original material and the 2003 reboot, which are both FAR SUPERIOR to this trash. This is nothing more than more of the same WOKE ideology you've seen in every other movie or tv shows. AVOID this trash at all cost, and any other garbage that Kevin Smith attempts to vomit out in the future.

    The worst for me is the click bait in trailer, if you netflix wanna do this kind of series, why so much about he-man in the trailer? Say is a totally diferent story, i don´t like the story too, its about all the wrong thins that occours today.

Apparently gender equality is not enough having He-Man and She-Ra now we need She-Man where her feelings, the drama she made not talking to her father or leaving a brilliant career because loyal people kept a secret and her sexual life (who cares honestly) are more important than the plot. I can understand if the show was about giving some dimension to other characters for part 1 so we get He-Man 100% for part two, but no... Obviously they wounded Adam so Teela has to be the main star. The story is a joke, If I order pizza I expect a rounded dough with ingredients oven made and not a cake or a juice. Otherwise, is totally legitimate to call this a spin off and that's it… Expand

    It’s ok making Teela the lead character, it’s actually a refreshing take on MotU. However, marketing it as a He-Man series is a dick move. If you wanna do a Teele series, then commit to it and say it as it is.

    Anyways, I could've forgive that too if it wasn't so terrible.

    To be honest, no I didn't like that Teela became the main focus of the story while the titular protagonist and main stay villain were both unceremoniously tossed to the wayside. My issue is not that Teela is woman and she strong woman and she beat up all bad guys with her strong woman muscles and I hate women protags and I man and I hate woke culture and LGBTQ and PC culture and and andTo be honest, no I didn't like that Teela became the main focus of the story while the titular protagonist and main stay villain were both unceremoniously tossed to the wayside.     image a reboot of Buffy. She get's killed in the first 20min and Angel takes over. Willow is portrayed as weak and dumb, as are all other female characters. Now change the genders and you have this show.

    This show is a middle finger in the face of classic MOTU fans. He-Man is really only in the first episode. From then on it's as everyone expected: Teela's the main character. Netflix basically ruin every franchise they touch so we can't be surprised. Kevin Smith has taken that to the next level here though and absolutely destroyed He-Man. Avoid this all costs if you are a He-Man fan.

Teela is the powerful woman who becomes the new "man"-at arms... and save the day... the 4 other episodes are all about Teela's Heroquest and later Princess Adam joins the Party... While the show has a good amount of tributes and easter eggs that are fun, it ends failing because they made the protagonist, that is Teela, unlikelible and self-centered so much that we worries only about herself when Adam parents are crying her death or people are telling her the world will end if she does not help.
    If you can't like the protagonist, it is impossible to enjoy the show, other issues as making Adam/He-Man kinda dumb are minor compared to this. Andra was much better developed and likeable in much short screen time in the show and would do a much better main character.    … Expand

    First want to say I am a HE-MAN fanatic. This show is NOTHING about HE-MAN. He only shows up in the first episode and a couple of teela's flashbacks. kevin smith talked this garbage up like it was all about HE-MAN. Should've known better from the title alone. If you are a fan from way back I wouldn't waste my time. it's not worth getting pissed off, cause you definitely will. Total garbage.

Because Max was still a badass and integral to the story and they both saw each other a strong individuals who have to work together and help those around them.     3rd: What kind of sick director decides that it's a good idea to have He-Man killed in the first chapter only to bring him back in the fifth chapter and have him killed again. Just .... ughhh....
    4th: ¿Why is everyone apologizing to Teela the whole series? ¿Why does Man-at-Arms and Adam think they should even go to point of kneeling and begging for her forgiveness? Yeah, because they can feel the empathy about Teela's feelings, but she can't reciprocate, that's what current feminist wave is teaching kids this days.
    5th: Kevin Smith: You couldn't produce a decent series. Even using as base one of the most beloved Universes created in the 80s, not even with an amazing voice cast, not even with at amazing animation crew. This had all the components it needed to succeed, except for you.    … Expand

    This show is a big middlefinger to all oldschool fans of He Man. It throws away all old values of the original and is a total disgrace. Beloved characters are dying, He Man is a side character and the whole show is about Teela, who looks like a man and her diverse SJW troop saving the day.
    A complete waste of time.
    Better watch the 2002 series if you want a true MOTU experience.

After watching it I felt disappointed that He-Man and Skeletor are not the main characters and the series tries to shove in my throat "woke" material. Andra and Teela feel out of place and Teela motivations are laughable. Teela is motivated by PMS and leaves all her people because she didn't liked to be lied! What a load of bullsh*t!     It may take a little while to fully get into what Masters of the Universe: Revelation is doing if you are not already familiar with the franchise. But whether you're a longtime fan or just hungry for a unique blend of sci-fi and fantasy, this show offers an exhilarating adventure that justifies the era of the legacyquel, while proving itself a necessary and essential part of the Masters of the Universe mythos.

    Smith eschews his normally wordy dialogue style, but keeps the characters smart and real, which helps us want to follow all of them as they go on their journey. He also hews closely to the convoluted world that is Eternia, where there’s layer upon layer of intrigue and mysticism that needs to be restored or captured. The animation is an upgraded version of the ’80s Filmation style the original show had, but with just enough retro touches to keep the show connected to its predecessor.
