    It actually has a somewhat decent story this time around and the pacing felt much better, season 2 was definitely a redemption, Finn Jones acting has improved a lot and his fight scenes are decent but you can tell when the double takes over, definitely much improved from season 1. Jessica Henwick still steals the show, she's phenomenal and pretty much carried the show just the like theIt actually has a somewhat decent story this time around and the pacing felt much better, season 2 was definitely a redemption, Finn Jones acting has improved a lot and his fight scenes are decent but you can tell when the double takes over, definitely much improved from season 1. Jessica Henwick still steals the show, she's phenomenal and pretty much carried the show just the like the first season, however I do get the feeling she's becoming a bit too cocky, I'm not a fan of Jessica Jones because it's just about "me me me, all about me!" and I hope she doesn't go that route.
    Overall a much better structured season! ...one definitely worth checking out..

Super hero knows the bad guys are right around the corner... waits for them to come his way... and all the time he's waiting the bad guys are killing innocent victims.... yep it's one of those wtf were the writers thinking?

    This show went from bad to worse with season 2. The main character is weak, pathetic and easily led around. Villian is predictable. Spends to much time developing the boring supporting cast for obvious agenda. Terrible show all around.

    Schizophrenic characterizations (not just Mary), questionable acting, directing that is all over the place, and to top it off, writing that is just as bad as season one, just a different style. The amount of convenience, plot points that are so foreshadowed they rip you out of immersion, and meaningless fight scenes to break up the tedium. At least in season one the characters had dependable personalities. Even the continuity of season one is completely ignored, so the abilities of the Iron Fist may no longer be around (healing).

    If Misty inappropriately smirks one more time, or Joy does her inappropriate laugh, I think I am just going to stop watching Marvel anything on Netflix. Perhaps binge watching CW quality material is not a good idea after all. I miss the days when Netflix was sparsely offering quality, instead of shoveling quantity.    … Expand

    Season 2 gets off to a slow start because the writing needs serious work. Pacing is slow, tension is lacking in regards to the core plot, and many of the scenes just don't matter. The episodes have stretches where acting and dialog sink to the bottom of the barrel.

    I don’t know why they even call it Iron Fist, it’s “the Colleen show” with special guest Kung fu guy. The writing is so bad and pandering that they can’t even develop or focus on the main character! For Christ sake, he’s supposed to be the best martial artist in the world, but he has to be trained (and beaten!) by some little karate girl in New York?? Oh yeah, that sure sells him as theI don’t know why they even call it Iron Fist, it’s “the Colleen show” with special guest Kung fu guy. This show is a complete mess of SJW garbage, bad acting, poor choreography and horrendous writing. The only way they can even salvage the character at this point would be to do a heroes for hire series with Luke Cage, because I can’t stand one more second of the immortal Colleen or the atrocious storyline they’ve delivered. Iron Fist isn’t a hero, he’s his girlfriends sidekick, and I have no desire to watch one more second of them ruining a classic marvel character to push an agenda.… Expand

    Terrible writing and a lack of budget are this shows real problem. Every fight scene is the same, the poor dialog and awful writing make the second season of Iron Fist is worse than the first.

    Do not waste your life and free time on a show this awful and poorly done.

    This is the equivalent of DC ever saying, "Hey let;s make Lois Lane the new 'Superman' cause that would be so totally woke!"

    Sad to see that Netflix has decided to go full on social justice with this show. Really disappointing,

    Typhoid Mary was a poor villain choice and misplaced in Iron Fist She also never truly took on the Typhoid Mary persona. Instead we just got a bad ass woman with split personality, one of whom could kick Iron Fist's ass fairly easily.

    Poor casting for Davos. In the comics the Steel Serpent was Asian and he was a lot bigger than Iron Fist, how did we get an Indian guy with an English accent who's actually smaller than Finn Jones?
    No respect for source material...really disappointing show overall.    … Expand

    I don't know why the critics had a problem with this. I think it's great; Davos is a great viillain, Danny and Colleen have become great heroes, and all around, the show works really well.

    Iron Fist 2 is comparable to Luke Cage , Jessica Jones and Daredevil with regard to story , plot line , setting , visuals , acting and character arcs. These Marvel tales are entertaining and interesting. Looking forward to season three.

    This season was far better than the first. The actors feel more connected to their characters and there is a sense of flow between them. Pacing was an issue as times, but the fights were good and the plot was entertaining and original. THE ENDING WAS EPIC! Highly recommend.

    A significant improvement over season 1, Iron Fist: Season 2 is fairly enjoyable. I still have some gripes, such as the entirety of Joy Meachum, but overall Season 2 has me optimistic for the future of iron Fist. The old show-runner was fired and a new one came in, and it shows. The action scenes are a significant improvement. The plot is decently compelling. It's nothing amazing, butA significant improvement over season 1, Iron Fist: Season 2 is fairly enjoyable. I still have some gripes, such as the entirety of Joy Meachum, but overall Season 2 has me optimistic for the future of iron Fist. The old show-runner was fired and a new one came in, and it shows. Really most of the cringe-worthy aspects of season 1 have been removed. IF is still the weakest of the 5 Marvel Netflix properties, but Season 2 gives a compelling enough reason to return for Season 3 and, hopefully, give us some more Heroes for Hire.… Expand

And once again, there is very little continuity across the shows. Still no Luke Cage or Daredevil. Misty pops in for an episode or two. Colleen Wing is criminally underused. The villains and their henchmen are boring, unmemorable, and hardly pose a threat, while we get more of the Meechum's sitting boardrooms scheming and plotting laughably bad and vague business schemes that don't amount to anything.

    Between this, and the lackluster Season Two of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, The Punisher, Defenders, etc, they really need to shake up the TV division because they are seriously lacking vision. Marvel Netflix needs to focus less on making grimdark, realistic, soap opera stories and embrace the comic bookness like their movies, do and find some differences in tonality and motivation. Marvel Netflix characters are either too wracked with guilt, completely conflicted, milquetoast sensitives, or suffering from mommy/daddy issues. This isn't the DCU. How about letting them be superheroes now and then? Let them grow a bit and have some characteristics that aren’t based entirely on their horrible past experiences. Let Iron Fist be a crazy, over-the-top, action series like it initially was in the comics with Luke by his side. They should have rolled this and the other Defenders into an ensemble Heroes for Hire show instead and let that be the Avengers for the small screen and establishing a firm continuity and teamwork between the characters like they do in the MCU.    … Expand

    I wish i could review it 0. I dont understand why Netflix is still continuing this series. Finn jones is the worst actor i have ever seen his acting skill sucks. His martial arts sucks more than his acting skill. This show is a sinking ship.

If the idiots at Netflix wanted to a make Wing and Misty the main characters why did they even call this show Iron fist? They shouldve just called the show Daughters of the Dragon like the actual comic. Why bother compromising with gangbangers? They shouldve kicked their asses and let social services deal with the deliquents. SJW pandering to the max in this one. Men have to constantly whine about their problems and validate the women, while the women act more and more like men. Wing gets the Iron Fist power at the end just becoz she has a pooosy. We already knew Iron Fist himself was a bit rubbish but making Davos the main villain? wow, i've seen more imposing boxes of kittens. The character choices make little sense, and it chugs along with grim resolve, let's hopethe female cast is great, and that's what makes the two wet blankets that play lead and villain so cringeworthy. His acting isn't something to write home about either. It's mind-boggling how his acting can make good actors look like bad actors. Which is not the case for Iron Fist. I'm not saying he's supposed to be as buff as a Thor but at least look like a fighter.

    Another thing that bothers me is the casting of Davos. He's probably the most un-intimidating antagonist I've ever seen. A 5'7 cuddly Indian dude with a British accent. But at least he is more ripped than Iron Fist.

    Now about the show itself. There are so many unnecessary scenes that make the pace of the show slow down so much that my mind drifts off every couple of minutes. When watching a show like Mr. Robot even the scenes where there are no dialogue you'll get information about what's going on. Everything in a scene is there for a reason, like lighting, position of the character, background music and much more. But in this show it makes you aware of the fact that you just wasted 15 seconds on people walking through doors, going up stairs or whatever, staring at nothing. (Not sure if that made any sense lol) What I'm trying to say is that a 50 minute episode could've been cut down to 35 and you wouldn't have missed anything.

    All in all it feels like a chore to watch; which is a bummer because I've liked all Marvel shows until now. (Except Jessica Jones Season 02)    … Expand

Danny queda en segundo plano y le pasan el puño a china generica numero 1. Al final la quieren arreglar pero esto es patetico me la pase enojado toda la temporada esperando que Iron fist finalmente sea el HEROE que deberia ser y es mas patetico que en la primera temporada, le pegan todos los que se le cruzan, hasta un soldado (que sorprendentemente es otra mujer) es mejor que el en artes marciales. Mejor que un monje que entrena desde pequeño para ganarse el puño. Hace agua por todas partes esta serie. Super defraudado… Expand

    Don't know what people are complaining about .. its worth a watch .. they could give it a bigger budget and yes the pacing is a bit slow but I enjoyed this series and the crime would be to cancel the show after that ending.

    there are improvements to keep one somewhat interested thanks to the fact its 10 episodes than 13 from the first season. Not a whole lot feels dragged thanks to this shortage even though it does happen somewhat

    I just finished the entire series and I'm happy to state that Iron Fist Season 2 was quite entertaining. Excellent villains and a tighter script help but the but the best improvement was the action. The scenes were, believe it or not, approaching daredevil quality. Danny is portrayed as much more powerful than the guy who could get taken out by one goon in a basement hospital like inI just finished the entire series and I'm happy to state that Iron Fist Season 2 was quite entertaining.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The only good thing about this season was Davos. Danny and his girlfriend are essentially fighting on behalf of the Triad to control the Lower East Side for some reason.

    It begins with Danny kind of peace keeping and trying to arrange a parlay between different Triad sanctions, who literally murder innocent people in the street. Even after seeing this, Danny still works to keep the different Triad factions in power. Davos comes along, cripples the Triad and tries to remove their hold on the city. And somehow Davos is the bad guy?

    I could not root for Danny or Colleen. I did not understand their motivation and both of them seem like the least bright people in every room. The showrunners were smart to give the actor who plays Davos a major storyline this season, he is the only actor which commands your attention. I find myself zoning out when Danny and Colleen are on screen. In fact, I had to check and remind myself of their names before writing this review and I have seen both seasons!    … Expand

    A very small improvement over the first season and the fact that now there are only 10 episodes helps very little.

    The story is slow and drag things a lot. The first three episodes are completely disposable. It takes a good rhythm starting with the fourth but loses its course towards the ending before the hasty, anticlimatic and poor conclusion.

    So much better than the first season! Iron Fist finally finds his position in the Netflix-Marvel series, though the characters are still boring and unchanging for the whole sick of time. (Mary is the only well-written role)

Jessica Henwick was great as Colleen Wing and I personally think that these 2 actors work very well together. The next big plus is the character of Davis, I thought he was a very compelling villain that brought this real tension to the show. Not that he was scary or intimidating but you feel his emotional stretch to why he thinks what he's doing is right. The action scenes in this show are also far better than they were in season 1. The choreography was far better and the actual sequences felt more real and grounded. Sometime there are a few to many cuts and sometimes the choreography is a bit choppy, but overall they are pretty good. The story is far more interesting and is more fast paced, because I think the idea of doing 10 episodes actually helped the show flow better. Many of the other supporting are far more compelling than they originally were. The character of Ward was far more compelling and actually did stuff, he wasn't just the angry business man who drank.

    While though this show does offer so much to love and appreciate there are also a few things that don't really work. This show does struggle when trying to flesh out some actual emotion, there are several times when the show goes from being fun and serious to trying to make the audience cry. However these scenes come out very bland. My next big issue was that some of the supportive characters had weak motivations for doing what they were doing. Particularly in the character of joy, there are several scenes were she tries to explain the reason why she's angry, but they don't do a good job of making you get behind her and see from her point of view.

    The show does still have some pacing problems, there are a couple of episodes were the show just drags, and doesn't even offer some further plot detail or character background.

    So overall I enjoyed the show, I don't know how I feel about the ending, parts of me say it was cool, but other parts say it just sucked. So I'm mixed on the ending. But overall this is a fun season, not a great one, but fun    … Expand

    Its fight scenes vastly improve upon the garbage disposal-like quality of jump cuts masquerading as brawls in season one, and the writing has moved away from the mind-numbing exposition that characterized much of season one, trusting the audience to understand what’s happening without dialogue constantly reminding them. However, Iron Fist’s second season isn’t exactly good when in the context of television outside of Iron Fist. Parts of it are still staggeringly clunky.
