    More so than in any other Netflix superhero show, Iron Fist never figures out how to build an aesthetic that reconciles its naturalistic performances and its dialogue, which tends to fall into one of two categories: no-frills information delivery or failed cleverness.

    Season 2 gets off to a slow start because the writing needs serious work. Pacing is slow, tension is lacking in regards to the core plot, andSeason 2 gets off to a slow start because the writing needs serious work. Pacing is slow, tension is lacking in regards to the core plot, and many of the scenes just don't matter. The episodes have stretches where acting and dialog sink to the bottom of the barrel.… Full Review »
