I'm stunned by the positive reviews. I can't remember an action series that was so GD boring. Every scene is way too long. Too much talking and so formulaic. Every episode is a slog... then the last 5 mins are action to get you excited to watch next episode. I tried watching... they lost me mid-way through episode 5.

Very bad ending, good punisher story extremely boring Hlektra story.

0 relationship development between Merdoc and Ilektra, with pathetic ending. How can u possbily ''force''merdoc say such thing at the end when the relationship development between him and Hlektra is sup-bar. DD would never say'' lets leave this place'' ...not to mention it was obvious she will die at the next

Often we in the design and media industry are forced to work with marketing departments as to make a product or in this case a show that fits a wide range of demographics and target markets. Daredevil has become a prime example of that recently in the latest season. Now why this happens in a lot of shows and movies what made the first season of daredevil so refreshing is that the marketing was far more minimal than most other tv shows. THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE WITH THE SECOND SEASON!!!

    Casting:
    Elektra casting
indian actress to appeal to an indian market ( in the comic book she's greek)

    Plot: Elektra storyline
Romance story to appeal a female and Indian / Asian market

Punisher casting choice appeals to a comic book market ie walking dead etc
Plot is rich with subtle romantic undertones between Frank and Karen female targeted audience

Season 2 has Daredevil acting more as a plot framing device than the star of his own show.

You used to be cool Netflix making shows that stood out like True Detective, Lily Hammer, Narcos, Marco Polo, F is for Family and Bojack now you are becoming like every other terrible mainstream tv station that focuses more on ratings and less on good entertainment...

Get back to making more good entertainment don't make this the norm.

Score of 3 for the 3 good episodes in the season.

Rather than struggle to stay alive, in season 2, Daredevil struggles to keep his social life together, which was strained to begin with, as Electra's presence causes him to flip flop between priorities. The enemy forces he faces are never presented in a way that align with their own narrative. ~Riddled with plot holes, unfinished

The enemy forces he faces are never presented in a way that align with their own narrative. ~Riddled with plot holes, unfinished narratives and forced cameos/MCU references. Clancy Brown was typecast. Electra was miscast.

Aside from the first three episodes, and episode 7, you don't need to watch any of it, as the rest of it is likely to get covered in the 'recap' of season 3. That's sad.

0/10 because of all the 10/10 paid and fanboy scores. In reality a 5/10. I think a younger audience would appreciate it more, like 10- 15 year old's.
Bad acting- fighting- more fighting- more fighting- bad acting- pathetic over- done emotional characters- more fighting- more fighting..........switch off.

So boring. This season is only an excuse to put some new characters. The plot is lazy and stupid without a great story in all the chapters. I think that Netflix only writes this serie to increase their rating and their number of series in the plataform

At least the first season you could "see" despite the abuse of the camera shake, the night scenes of the second season are too dark!!! With my old plasma TV I can't see anything(and the camera shake abuse is still there). Netflix must add, as for pc games, a MOVIE'S minimum requirements: hdtv contrast 50.000:1 or higher, a view of ten tenths or higher.

Ultimately, Petrie and Ramirez created a season that fully understands Daredevil's strengths and plays to them accordingly. But this second installment is underwritten, and has failed to build on the show's fine first season.

Mr. Cox and Elden Hanson, as Foggy, do earnestness well and put across the sometimes dopey dialogue better than you’d have a right to expect. There’s not, however, a lot of wit or shading to their performances--the writing can be blamed, but they could be doing more to amplify it, to make the show more fun. For that, we can turn to Deborah Ann Woll, who jolts the show to life every time she appears as Karen.

I admire the series without being very engaged by it, but I can certainly see why you might get more hooked on it.
