Agent Carter hits the screen a much more confident show than “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” did last season. This is a show with a clear vision, a powerful acting ensemble, and the perfect Marvel blend of action, excitement, pathos and humor.... While I liked Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD well enough when it began, I got tired of it after a while because it became repetitive. I have a feeling I’ll stick around longer with Carter, largely because of the nifty period details, the character development and the performances. Read full review

Agent Carter is a fun noir, mystery adventure with a smart story about how women weren't respected in the 1930's. And if you enjoyed movies like the Rocketeer then you will definitely enjoy this show. Marvel's Agent Carter is my favorite superhero show, my favorite Marvel show, and one of my favorite shows of all time. Hayley Atwell's performance as Peggy Carter is exceptional, she really gets to shine as the character even more than she got to in Captain America: The First Avenger andMarvel's Agent Carter is my favorite superhero show, my favorite Marvel show, and one of my favorite shows of all time. Hayley Atwell's performance as Peggy Carter is exceptional, she really gets to shine as the character even more than she got to in Captain America: The First Avenger and she puts so much emotion and strength into her performance and her performance and the character show that a woman can do a job just as good if not better than any man could and she plays a single working woman living in the 1940s having to juggle work, her social life, and dealing with the trials and tribulations of a woman living in the 40s perfectly. Hayley Atwell gives a emotionally powerful and inspirational performance, her performance is one of my top 5 favorite Marvel performances and Peggy is one of my top 5 favorite Marvel characters. The supporting performances are stupendous especically from Bridget Regan, Dominic Cooper, James D'Arcy, Lyndsy Fonseca, and Enver Gjokaj. The setting is outstanding, I love 40s look and it feels and looks really authentic. The makeup and hairstyling is phenomenal especially on Hayley Atwell, Bridget Regan, Lyndsy Fonseca, and Dominic Cooper. The costumes are excellent especially on Hayley Atwell and Bridget Regan. The props are superb especially the cars and guns. The makeup, hair, costumes, and props are all authentically 40s looking. The visual effects are spectacular especially the nitramene bomb explosions. This is an A+ first season.… Expand

Agent Carter is the first modern cinematic Marvel show. It's set in a wildly different time period than any other series on tv, is historical, creative, adds beautifully to the Marvel universe, ties in with Agents of SHIELD, cameos for familiar movie faces, and is all around well done.Agent Carter is the first modern cinematic Marvel show. Action scenes are perfect for her character. She and Jarvis are the most wonderful unlikely friendship and it also shows the beginnings of SHIELD through the SSR. I love this show. It's so hard to find good shows for the lady action lover and to be in the Marvel universe at the same time? And in the 1940s no less? It was pretty happy-face.
I give it a happy-face outta ten.
Happy-faces all around.
Hopefully as the show progresses, that Happy-face will grow into Smiley-Face.

Agent Carter is one of the most consistently enjoyable shows I've watched recently. While not every episode is great all of them are quite entertaining in their own way giving a great sense of adventure and just simply fun. The stand-out episode has to be "SNAFU", it's freaking fantastic andAgent Carter is one of the most consistently enjoyable shows I've watched recently. While not every episode is great all of them are quite entertaining in their own way giving a great sense of adventure and just simply fun. The stand-out episode has to be "SNAFU", it's freaking fantastic and perfectly balanced with some of the best action and stunt work of the entire season while packing an emotional punch. The cast is overall pretty great too, Chad Michael Murray pleasantly surprised me with his performance as Thompson, but the ones who stand out and make the show what it is got be Hayle Atwell, bringing emotion, charm, confidence and a sense of quippines, she's extremely lovable and the perfect Peggy Carter (though sometimes she feels more like a superhero than a human during some fight scenes), whilst having fantastic chemistry with James D'Arcy who's Jarvis is probably the most fun character of the show. Agent Carter couldn't really get away from the MCU curse of having pretty weak villains, which made the finale pretty underwhelming. I would highly recommend this show, it has witty writing, extremely fun and likable characters and a great sense of atmosphere of late 40s America.… Expand

Une marvellerie marvelleuse pas merveilleuse du tout mais en vérité bien merdeuse, comme les trois quarts des productions Marvel (et plus si affinités) qui débitent leur ménagerie de super-héros idiots (pléonasme certes) à une cadence industrielle.

Ainsi, ces aventures de la secrétaire duUne marvellerie marvelleuse pas merveilleuse du tout mais en vérité bien merdeuse, comme les trois quarts des productions Marvel (et plus si affinités) qui débitent leur ménagerie de super-héros idiots (pléonasme certes) à une cadence industrielle.

Ainsi, ces aventures de la secrétaire du 'pitaine amerloca (aventures hum hum...) qui en a marre de servir le caoua à ces messieurs machos et qui décide d'aller botter des culs. C'est naturellement rocambolesque pour ne pas dire très bête et très con et on y croit déjà plus au bout de 2 mn de chaque épisode.

Certes, ces dames pourront éventuellement se réjouir de cette héroïne féministe mais c'est l'arbre qui cache la forêt : quoiqu'elle fasse, elle reste une bécasse et l'actrice a été uniquement choisie pour la taille de son soutif. Et si ce n'était pas le cas, elle n'aurait rien à faire là puisqu'elle joue comme une cruche de toute façon.

Sinon bah on s'ennuie énormément malgré le faible nombre d'épisodes puisque c'est écrit avec les pieds par des scénaristes surmenés. A éviter et à fuir donc.… Expand
