This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. When this show first started I couldn't get enough of it but who would have thought that only 5 or 6 episodes in it would have already "jumped the shark".

The whole concept was so much fun and I sure can't get enough of the beautiful Josh Dallas but actually it was his character that has put a halt on my enthusiasm I once had for this new show. I could buy everything they were dishing out until (I don't think this is a spoiler but I'll check the box anyway) Ben Stone (Josh Dallas) obtains a job at which he is extremely over qualified (or so the story goes) to delve into the goings-on of a evil corporation that has its fingers in the lives and happenings of the passengers. A corporation that is so powerful it seems to be able to run circles around the government and (yawn) experiment on the poor victims of Montego Air Flight 828.

When Ben hung around the office of his new job waiting for his opportunity to tap into the corporations files I turned off the show. That was it for me. I think this series has gone the route of irreversible silliness and that makes me sad because I really did like it.

Hilariously bad. I can't look away and funny is funny so that helps the score. By way of example, the authorities go through the plane in HASMAT suits but they've already released all the passengers into the general public. The fun continues.

They could spend some time developing the characters, instead of jumping right to...plane ...and oh its the future. you have a whole season and you did that in the first 5 minutes. Give us an hour of whose's who and then have the dramatic event, could have left the last line being, you took off in 2013 and its now 2018... gives us a reason to watch, the second show... to many shows nowThey could spend some time developing the characters, instead of jumping right to...plane ...and oh its the future. you have a whole season and you did that in the first 5 minutes. An excellent storyline and concept for a TV series. Unfortunately, the execution is poor, and the acting is mediocre at best. Like "Lost", the paranormal concept in this show offers unlimited plots and twists to capture our fancy. However, in order to make this type show somewhat believable, you need to create a realistic approach to facts and details. They have not done that here.

In the initial sequences, they show the cockpit and instrument panel of the aircraft, with three columns of engine gauges. They later show the plane as a two engine aircraft. Furthermore, the pilot says they have 191 people on board. The aircraft shown was an older model plane, that would not hold more than 150 people. These are small details, but ones that could have been easily corrected. Lack of attention to detail will likely doom this show for me.

Seems like it should be a movie instead of a serialized weekly series.

It's always difficult with such concepts -- and perhaps this one more than most -- to see whether the producers can sustain enough interest to keep the show airborne.
