    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This show is freaking awesome! It sheds some light as to what the Secretary of State has to go through on a daily basis and also shows how she balances her private life. Just a great show over all.… Expand

    "Madame Secretary" opened with a great episode that was well paced, included some humor and set in motion plenty of season-long drama. This show was one of the strongest from last year and has developed into one of the better dramas on network TV.

    Great characters and very topical. Interesting look at balancing diplomacy and morality. Based on reviews from season 1, strongly negative ratings appear to be from angry right-wing types. That's their right, but if you're open-minded, give this show a try--it's excellent.
