    At least in the early going, this raucous and raunchy affair exhibits a flair for the absurd and profane, even if its boundary-pushing elements get in the way of casting its characters as three-dimensional figures worth rooting for—or caring about—in a serious manner.

    With a strong cast behind it and plenty of time ahead, “Little Demon” could forge an imaginative reputation through the fires of trial and error. But in order to stand out, it needs to get off the highway and carve its own path to hell — leaving good intentions, and conventions, in the dust.

    There are times when the visual ingenuity of “Little Demon” carries the show, and that could be enough for some viewers. ... Sadly, the plotting and dialogue never match the visual creativity of “Little Demon.” It often goes for the extreme joke but too rarely finds the funny one, mistaking chaotic for comedic. The voice work is inconsistent.

I imagine a DoorChan troll who is still rambling about media and it’s “woke agenda”. Just have an original thought—and stop ‘review bombing’ everything. anyway the show has Danny DeVito and Aubrey Plaza (both actors who choose their projects thoughtfully). Crude and dumb, the show has potential for you if you’re a fan of any the big animated ADULTS shows (Simpson, Rick & Morty, Family/ South Park guy, etc) or the occult. Also Aubrey Plaza can do no wrong in my book (no matter how hard she tries).… Full Review »

    Even though FX gives the makers enough creative freedom in the graphics and script department it still feels to be holding back, like it'sEven though FX gives the makers enough creative freedom in the graphics and script department it still feels to be holding back, like it's trying to be the next Adult Swim thing, but can't hit the mark. Ironically Adult Swim had a short lived series called Lucy, Daughter of the Devil (Lucy DeVito voices the Devil's Daughter in the current series), quite a few years ago from much of the Bob's Burgers team, that covers the same territory. The cast is up to the task. Audrey Plaza is on a roll lately, and Danny DeVito is Danny DeVito, but I'll take a so-so episode of Archer over this, for now, at least.… Full Review »
