The second season brings back everything that made the first season so good and then adds even more insanity and weirdness. If you enjoyed the first season you will love this season as well.

2nd season lost no momentum from the first season and kept being engaging with a new setting, some new characters, and a further continuation of the weird world inside Legion's head.

Legion is back and as good as ever. Season 1 was absolutely wonderful, and season 2 is shaping up to be just as exhilarating. Anyone who enjoyed season 1 will surely enjoy season 2 as well.

Trippy and psychedelic, Legion is back with a bang. The second season emphasizes more on the conflicting superhero side of David, while mixing the madness with philosophy lessons. The concept seems odd on paper, but hey... this is Legion. Odd is a great and bold move for the brand. In fact, the odd factor is amped up, making it a compelling second season to watch.

one of the best tv shows based on comics! respect!
not only based on comic, but shown to the viewers as a comic/comic like as well!
and it was done great! acting is superb, and director succeeded where lots of them failed!
can't wait till season 3, so good were the first two seasons..... usually is season 1 to bring you in, but this show is mind blowing!

Excellent season. High on mystery and surrealism. Couple of things happened that were really surprising and didn't make much sense from the Legion universe we have been exposed to, but overall, very thrilling. The final episode was really good too. Can't wait for the next season. 9/10

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really loved season 1, and season 2 was of the same quality. There is a narrator this season and the season is divided in chapters. I think the season exploit the notion of what is an enemy ? What does it take to make one ? Is good and bad just a question of perspective. The season is interesting in that sens. The filming is quite amazing. They exploit a lot of cinema tricks and whistles. I really love the dancing part as it was totally unexpected. But they went a bit too complex in the end with their flashback. And some of the crazy parts were just for effects and that did badder me. I think season one was more balanced that way. I give it a 78%. Great show. Expand

It really manages to maintain that same feel of season one, great well shot scenes, plots that confuse you in a good way and really focusing on story more than just show everyone that it's a superhero movie. Maybe the introduction of new characters could really improve this season,

An UFO in the vast world of TV shows. The second season remains very interesting especially in the way of the criticism of the USA foreign policy : when the Shadow King tells Legion that his father had no real reason to come into his country and judge his actions... and years later "the enemy is now the hero, and the hero is the enemy". Can't wait for season 3.

Mind blowing..Why? The most amazing screenplay I've ever seen! The way its telling every characters past, parallel worlds episode, Finding the body and how things went in the desert with David & Syd, beginning part of every chapter that describes a psychosis & ... shows that :

Plus the narration visit s some ideas and theories inspired by psychologists' research. This makes this series very special and original, but also brings a faulty pacing issue, which is due to the fact that a lot of the things are illusions or just ideas that are irrelevant to the main plot and just slow down the overall development of the plot. Otherwise it is the most intriguing and in some weird way interactive TV series, with an entertaining twists and characters. The nature of the mind boggling events made it even more fun to watch, which ultimately led to the whole series being unique, with great acting amazing directing, and super originality in every single term.
Overall it is a very good TV series that has a big pacing issue, and for general audience most of the time too complex chronology and reality illusion balance.

I'm genuinely thrilled every time i see a new episode. You *never* know what's gonna happen and the show keeps f*cking with your mind just enough to keep everything interesting but giving you exactly what you need to keep on waiting for more.

Effortlessly their best season as much as it is equally their most weird. A super powered trip into the marvel universe that doesn't suspend reality without providing a better one. It truly had me glued to my screen either in apprehension or confusion. Legion is the most brazenly inventive series on TV. ... The genre mash-ups that result are often as weird as they are striking, and they delight as art objects even when they do little to advance the story. (I consider it a compliment to the show to say that it doesn’t care all that much about plot; others will not agree.) ... The frustrations and indulgences are all of a piece. This is someone else’s dream. You get to watch it, question it, and sometimes dance to it.

There's still a tenuous connection to a sense-making plot (but only realistically if you watched Season 1). ... And yes, that gives me comfort only in the sense that what viewers will see in the opening episodes is such a perversely wonderful hallucinogenic experience--dance numbers, shape-shifting, the creepy sound of frozen people and their chattering teeth, explorations of color, astral plane hijinks and multiple WTF moments--that there's comfort in knowing it's not all just cinematic showboating, a Pollock/Rothko virtual reality with no meaning.

Legion presents itself as a maze, but it's more accurately an imaginatively adorned straight line in season two. The series performs an effective illusion: It can be uncanny, but it's rarely truly impenetrable. The flamboyant peculiarity of David's world convinces us that we're seeing something for the first time.
