Legacies must be given credit for boldly confronting the bigoted myths about lycanthrope/Wiccan miscegenation. And its continuing salute to Our Friend The Mouse (perhaps an allegorical reference to Disney?) is welcome and educational. Who knew rodent entrails could be used in so many spells? Read full review

Pretty good show. I only watched half of VD and a few episodes of Originals, this show definitely stands on it's own while at the same time referencing the others. I like that they didn't stick with the same supernaturals, and how they included other beings and had a decent explanation ofPretty good show. Also has x-men vibes obviously with the school for supernaturals and having a super team which actually works for me. Like others said, it's refreshing. The "tone" (i guess?) is a lot brighter / funner and it also helps that it doesn't revolve around the same characters every episode (so far, review in season 1). I recommend even if you didn't watch the other shows.… Expand

love the legacies tv show hope it has more season i finish the whole season 1 in one day please bring me more seasons best show just like the vampire diaries wish they would had continued with more season it was so sad that Stefan had to die

I gave up on TVD about a season and a half before it ended and dumped The Originals after about two seasons. Every episode started to feel the same. Overstuffed story lines made viewing tedious. The mythology became near impossible to keep track of every time they retconned something.I gave up on TVD about a season and a half before it ended and dumped The Originals after about two seasons. Every episode started to feel the same. Overstuffed story lines made viewing tedious. The mythology became near impossible to keep track of every time they retconned something.

Legacies feels fresh but benefits from the deep mythology already in place. I don't know if it's just the story of the season or something that they can sustain, but I'm on board and enjoying it.

Oh, and of course it's the CW, so your usual left-wing buzzwords and virtue signaling are present, but not toxically so like the DC Berlanti-verse series.

A tentative 7. Let's see how the season ends.… Expand
