    The premise of LA to Vegas reminds me of the show The Guest Book, i.e., a core cast of characters with a new group of supporting characters each week. The plane's captain is just wrong for the role, or maybe the script is mis-written for him. Either way, I've started to skip past his scenes, as they add little to the show.

    I originally gave LA To Vegas a review of 4, but now that I've seen a couple more episodes, I'm changing it to ZERO! You know there's a tiny little Canadian sitcom called KIM's CONVENIENCE that's filmed in Toronto. Kim's Convenience is WAY funnier and better in every way and it puts LA To Vegas to absolute shame! I think Fox needs to declare MAYDAY and pull the plug on this shamefully,I originally gave LA To Vegas a review of 4, but now that I've seen a couple more episodes, I'm changing it to ZERO!     Two days into 2018 and we have a frontrunner for the worst new show of the year. LA to Vegas (the official title doesn't have periods, which sounds like a line this show would turn into a joke) is shockingly bad. Not the kind of show you should watch just to see how awful it is, but definitely a show so bad that someone at Fox should be fired over it.

    These early episodes have some of the usual growing pains first-year comedies go through as the creative team figures out what’s funny about each actor and character; they’ve already solved McDermott/Dave, so you have to wait to see if the others can catch up.

    Quirky and unlike any current TV comedies, it’s got smart, dumb-funny humor and a great comedic turn by Mr. McDermott.
