Summary: Hugh successfully kidnaps Rebecca. We discover that Hugh killed the previous king using Rebecca as his puppet. His goal was to steal the kings spirit shard, but he sealed it inside Rebecca as his last act. She tries to kill herself in order to keep it from Hugh, but it protects her, refusing to let her do so.
