As the Misfits' coach, Zipper gives them equipment that helps them cheat their way to victory inJem and the Holograms, as well as the Misfits are invited to Honolulu, Hawaii to compete in the annual Battle of the Music Stars. Kimber meets a young man named Steve on the flight. He becomes the band's coach as well as Kimber's island beau. As the Misfits' coach, Zipper gives them equipment that helps them cheat their way to victory in multiple events.
