    For all the ambition and exaggeration of these episodes, however, it's the subtle “Mac & Dennis Move to the Suburbs” that best summarizes Sunny's approach to its “golden” years. A warm, inviting suburban atmosphere has long been a staple of American sitcoms, and Sunny instantly corrupts it.

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia continues to earn its long run with constant re-invention, novel storytelling, sharp-as-nails comedicIt's Always Sunny in Philadelphia continues to earn its long run with constant re-invention, novel storytelling, sharp-as-nails comedic performances, and an unrelenting willingness to dig deeper into some of the most depraved, deluded, and hilarious television protagonists to ever grace the small screen.

    Sitcoms don't typically keep getting better as they close in on the one decade mark. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is absolutely the exception to the rule. It gets better every season, no matter how often it is overlooked for awards and critical recognition. It's almost as if The Gang keeps getting better to spite those in the media that look the other way.

    Funny but no longer relevant. It's humorless and despite some gems is easily forgettable.

    Season 11 is very much a return to form and features a lot of classic episodes that I find myself constantly rewatching.
